A surveillance camera captured the moments before a suspected man shot 22-year-old Michael A. Ezzard Jr. to death in Smyrna. Police say they are still searching for the man who they consider "armed and extremely dangerous."

Prayers for this young man's family. I can only imagine the fear that was going through his mind at that time and it breaks my heart. I have never been a fan of having a strap, but now a days it's my closest friend. I keep my head on a swivel, hand on my piece and I'm on ready set go. I’m so sorry this happened. It shouldn’t happen to anyone. With that said the seemed personal almost as if he was waiting to get him for a long time. I’m not sure if and what the alleged victim did to the shooter however all I can say is do right by people, don’t slander people, don’t make up lies, don’t talk about peoples family, treat people with respect. Even then accidents in crazy people are still out there however a lot can be avoided by just treating others with respect

I 100% agree for many reasons @Frank Pena Jr . This is heartbreaking, disturbing & horrific AF- so damn Senseless and Evil! I am so very sorry for this young man, his family, friends-everyone who knew & loved him! He didn't deserve this, his parents & loved ones sure as F don't deserve this nor does the community in which this disgusting crime occurred. Vicious, likely. unwarranted, most likely. but probably not senseless. the guy shot him on purpose for a reason, we just don't know what that reason was yet. that did not look like stranger on stranger crime; it looked like the shooter was settling a beef or was paid to do it.

This young man is close to my youngest son's age and I know how I'd feel if it were my son.. I'd be devastated and broken.. his poor family.. his aunt is right.. it could our family standing there.. and I thank God it isn't.. but damn.. RIP, beautiful young man..

OMG! This broke my heart! I cannot imagine how his family NOR the ladies standing there feel! That was VERY personal and I wonder if the girl driving knew him as well or only the shooter, yet decided to accomplice the crime?! Either way, she's toast.
