There's also a long-press shortcut. Select Amp in effects view and page right until Solo SW appears over a knob. Long-press that knob to jump to Assign Settings with the new row assignment filled-in.

Yes you are correct! I normally use that myself, but felt I needed to slowly explain "where everything is", else folk might learn bad habits and in a panic don't know where to find etc. But well mentioned and i agree! Great feature that!

Thanks! Is there a way to Globally assign a Solo switch ? I have yet to find a way on the GX-100.

Great Info, i heard you can double assign the ( each ) knobs like setting one. clean hit it again and the color changes plus you can manage multiple parameters by doing this ( with one Hit) so with the 4 buttons you. Can do example button 1) Clean/ lead button 2) chrunch lead button 3) distorted and lead ( Like 1 bank for an entire lifeset) but Lots of programming 😃🥴

control functions are functions set to the physical footswitches and expression pedal. Settings are the built in settings from MIDI to USB to Global EQ, etc...

It boost the volume level a bit so the solos can be heard as the band plays.

I got issues with this gx100.....why after the gt1000 would they go back to something like this for a color screen upgrade? The gt1000nis so much better and not that much more.

I know that "touch screen" makes things desirable, and many guitarist gave the 1000 crap due to the "bad screen" - I'm ok with either.
