Hi there, Liron here! And in this episode of Painting Masters we'll look at works by Viktoria Prischedko.
I love so many things about her work. Here are a couple of them:
1. Lots of primary colors
2. Very clear and distinct areas of interest
3. Beautiful looseness and freedom
4. Plenty of wet-in-wet
Here's a really cool video of her painting:
• démonstration Victoria...
Enjoy!

To vary the edges she’s actually drying some areas with a tissue to get hard edges and living wet areas to get soft ones

Actually this is very interesting trick. This thing has been bothering me for some time. Will try it out.

Her art is just stunning! Love the boldness with colors. A true master. Wonder how she keeps the distinct light/white areas with her w/w technique. It doesn't look like she uses masking fluid. I could look at her paintings without tiring for hours. I can see some of her influence in your watercolors. 😊 Thanks for this video, Liron.

Indeed, her work is wonderful (: As for maintaining the lights, once you skip an area (which indeed - looks like she's doing), you can charge in a lot of paint (darker and stronger) wet in wet, and they will stay away from the dry area. And you can then tilt the paper to push the paint in different directions. So that might be a way to achieve this, or it could even be how she's doing it 😁

As always, I not only love Viktoria's work, but I also love the enthusiasm with which you present it to us. Please do a lesson on how to achieve this look! I always find these videos so inspiring. Thank you.

I LOVE her paintings and particularly how she uses the colors! I’ve always been curious about how she creates her art! I wish I could see her paint in person, or in a process video. But there’s very little available on the internet. Thank you so much for this review video!!

That was really interesting. Your description was spot on. The soft blends and sharp details, how she leads the eye, and scale. The night scene is amazing as you said, with the light sky and brilliant night lights. Thanks Liron.

Love it, Liron. I’ve learned so much from your painting masters videos and it has helped me take that same approach to other artists I love as well. You should review Milind Mulick sometime. He’s an Indian artist with amazing colours in his paintings!

I subscribed to your channel. I am the first to comment. I have seen these paintings. The color is very exaggerated. It is a very distinctive work. like very much. Follow the painter to travel. Let's work hard together.

Thank you Liron. Can you please explain how does she paint the little tiny white branches of the trees ? IT seems that she uses guache or not !

I see possible use of white pastel (lights in the ‘red tables and chairs restaurant’ painting). What do you think? Thank you for this excellent tour and quick breakdown of these beautiful pieces-well done! (And to the few dislikes-really? Just leave if it’s not of interest to you. I just don’t get it…sigh😑)

She doesn't use masking fluid for branches. I asked her in her instagram account today, and she answerd me that. I'm fascinated about her watercolors! I don't really know how she makes the branches without using it. :(
