Loved it. Loved the happiness on their faces. Please try some A CAPELLA, that is beautiful harmonies only created by human voices. Groups such as Pentatonix, VoicePlay, Home Free or The Flying Pickets are good choices for this.

Thank you! This father/daughter beatbox duo (Ed Cage and daughter Nicole Paris) was a delight. I think the villagers got a kick out of listening to a form of music they hadn't heard before - and then trying to do it, but finding that it's not as easy to do as it seems.

Something tells me Raju is gonna come back in a few months and be a beatbox master lol

“BeatBox” used to be a slang term for a large, portable radio that young ppl would bring with them to places to dance. Many ppl could not afford these large radios, so they began making the music themselves; also known as ‘turning into a human beatbox’, and that’s where the name came from.

I always enjoy these videos. They are informative and educational on both sides. (For the viewer and those involved in the videos). Each person brings something different to the table whether it be from their age, experience, profession, etc.. One piece I take away from this is: Imagine if others were so willing to learn, imagine what the world could be.

I love they they tried there best to mimic what they were doing in the video on the drum and with thief mouth. They really enjoyed the beatboxing it was nice to see 👍

Firstly, I've been watching so many of these videos for the past few weeks, so this is the first time I'm commenting and I love this channel and these wonderful villagers experiencing things beyond their familiarity with their own culture, though I also learn from them, as well, and add to my own knowledge base. That said, regarding this video, I'm so glad they got exposed to this wonderful part of real Hip Hop, which is a part of my own African-American culture that was created in my hometown of New York City. And I was so surprised (in a good way) to see them react the same way I did at 8:40 because that part was SO DOPE! Some things are just universal and I'm happy to see how many things I relate to with people in another part of the world I've never been in. If I ever go to India, I would love to meet these guys!

By far my FAVORITE video yet! Visual narratives matter. The media has and can do a horrible job of writing whole cultures with a negative paint brush. I adore how this video introduced the crew to a deeply personal Black cultural art, Beatboxing! Music speaks to the soul. Keep videos like this coming! I think Babu and and gentleman on the left can start a band! Ahhhhh. My day is right after watching this.

"Beat Boxing" was created back in the 1970's in New York by people imitating a drum machine, as an accompaniment to rappers, and some times for breakdancers to show off some moves. (I had always thought it meant it was a competition between two people "slinging" beats, like boxers do their fists, but I was wrong.)

If you want to show them some real melodic music with only the sound of their voices imitating actual instruments, show them the Acapella group Pentatonix. Especially the song Hallelujah.

Great video I am betting Raeen would have enjoyed this one a lot.

How joyful! I love to see them laugh . There are some strange practices where music is forbidden and I think this is proof that humans will find a way to make music anyway they can . It’s also further proof that music is a magnificent example of how it is the most natural human quality. It exists in every one . It’s universal. I’d love for them to listen to Dimash Qudaibergen. He can sing using his voice and no words or he can sing lyrics . Any genre . I think they would enjoy him very much . I could recommend anything from angelic styles to songs with a beat. He’s from Kazakhstan. I love his Kazakh music as much as I do his other styles . Loreena McKennitt’s “ Santiago “ I think they’d love as well . Our guys on this channel are perfect for these things . They literally listen in a way many of us don’t . I knew Babu would love this ! The mans heart is a drum .

This is a fun video but I would definitely recommend this video - "MB14 La Cup Showcase", MB14 is a beatboxer with amazing vocals and singing which he loops on a machine (with no effects). They would love his songs!! One of the best videos to introduce beatbox to anyone "SBX Circle Jam 2021" is also pretty fun! It's a circle of 8-10 beatboxers passing around the mic doing beats, similar to a rap cypher. Would be an interesting one as well!

The first video I saw of the duo I felt like she was trying to show off a bit. That was long ago. But it's so clear in this video, the bond and connection they share. They "dance" so well together. She is still clearly superior imo, but you can tell she has matured in character and skill. Her father taught her well, he must be so proud.

So much fun! Have they listened to a capella music before (only vocal harmonies, no instruments)? I recommend letting them hear something by the a capella group, Pentatonix. The Pentatonix song, "Hallelujah," is gorgeous. So is their version of "The Sound of Silence."

Sarru - the baby of the family who has such a fresh, open-minded, youthful perpective. Raju - new to me, but cool that he tried right away to beatbox.
