They say in Ireland that in some areas if you go a klik or two down the road, the accent will change to the point of making it hard understand your relatively close neighbours. This is probably changing now because people move around more, and I'm sure that the internet has an effect as well.

Raheen is baffling about how articulate he is and how he's expressing himself. This man is an inspiration. And his facepalm, legendary! I was really surprised when I heard the Brazilian girl saying something hard in Portuguese : I almost heard the French "Les chaussettes de l'archiduchesse...".

Even here in the U.S. there can be massive differences in culture with each state, but also the counties and cities as well. It's rather fascinating.

I wish I was rich. I would love to give these guys a couple of grand each and watch them rise from poverty. There is an innocence and hard working spirit about these guys. If they don't deserve it I don't know who does. So anyone watching if you can do that it would be good for the soul to see it. If I can get there I will do it myself 👍

I enjoyed their info about India - and how many differences you have! Raeen's tongue twister sounded hard in *any* language, LOL. Plus now I'm wondering what caused the other two to laugh about Babu's song. 😄 It must have been good.

Whenever I feel sad and ungrateful. These men remind me, our blessings. I feel so blessed to have found them on RU-vid. They fill my heart with warmth and a different perspective on life. I learn how to be humble and grateful every single day on this channel . They teach us lessons that are much more important than a few facts they learn here . Their gratitude and approach to everything could be such a benefit to the world . In more “ developed” countries we tend to take everything for granted and look at others not like us as somehow “ lacking “ when in fact they could teach us how to be better humans bc they are good humans . I typically don’t use religious phrases but I’m mindful of “ what profit a man who gains the world but loses his soul “. They haven’t lost their souls . ♥️♥️♥️

What a delightful video! And a wonderful song at the end. I'm with Raeen. The basic human values are universal. And, from my time in India, my favorite breakfast there was idli sambar, my favorite street food was bhelpuri, and my favorite drink was mango lassi. I greatly miss all of those.

I was going to be in a cultural exchange program for Grade 11 but I had two 1 week suspensions that resulted in not only being dropped from the exchange but also two weeks of summer as school to pass Grade 11. I would have gone to Enna, it's right in the middle of Sicily, Italy with beaches just a couple hours in every direction. My step-grandparents are Canadian immigrants from Enna, Sicily, I would have met step-family.

I would love to hear the villagers do the head wobble, say Acha and explain what it means. After spending 4 months in India I still don't know.

I am from the USA, and I was fortunate enough to go to Spain for a summer when I was in high school. No one prepared me for the kissing on cheeks that everyone does ... I met a group of boys and had to kiss them all in greeting, and since I'm female and I was young, I was so shy LOL. It's a very nice custom, though. But with covid, now no one touches each other, and I even miss shaking hands

I Love These these Great Men, but Raeem, he's so intelligent, alpha male & a lucky wife & children. Sarru mentioned building a home, of maybe brick n Raeem said you would be first in family to do so. Babu is very poor n struggling for two meals a day. I asked You Producers how we can help their lives be easier. Purification tablets for water, shoes, medicine or money for vaccine. I will continue asking on each video how can we help?

The Turkish girl grew up with a value of not being racist, that is so weird. No one ever told me or anyone I know not to be racist when we grew up, that would be so weird to tell a child. "My son, you have to be honest, nice and respect people. Oh and no racism"... So strange.

It is always fun to learn about different cultures. A few observations: -It seems that Germanic and English speaking countries (which makes sense as English and German share a root language) are less keen to kiss on the cheek when greeting people. -It is surprising how universal the shrug has become to indicate not knowing/caring about something. Though the girl from Japan did use a different gesture so the shrug may be more of a western thing. -Wow the Japanese girl can sing, the Turkish girl was pretty good too. -"Say something hard in your language." Me: expects the German to bust out the compound words that in english would be an entire sentence.

The main cultural difference that I see between us Brazilians and the Indians is the head nodding, in a half-circle way. Apparently, in India it means agreement, but in Brazil, it's not just disagreement, but a reaction of total disapproval to what the other person is saying, like "Wow, he's talking a lot of shit!", in, for example, 0:47. We Brazilians are obsessed with cleanliness! We take 2 or 3 showers a day, brush our teeth several times too, and clean the house almost every day, including a stronger cleaning one day a week! We even brush our teeth during working hours, after lunch! I've heard from foreigners who think all this is an exaggeration, but we are a very hot country, it's very hot here, that's why so many baths and perfect and clean teeth are very well evaluated socially! I've also heard from foreigners that we have the most beautiful teeth in the world, because of all this care!
