Lopez was a really tough boss but, he also could be a sport as here. I think they dubbed Betty as "the Original Jitterbug"? I guess that was just starting at this time before the war. This film was a real production and delightful from start-to-finish. Thanks a bunch, chunnel. . : .
The amazing part of this short was to get Fred Lowry to look at Lopez, walk to the end of the piano and then walk out of the scene without bumping into anything. Lowry was blind.
That looks like Johnny Morris on drums. I think he'd been with Lopez since the 1920s. Can anybody identify the clarinetist was who took that smokin' bluesy solo on the tune before "Old Man Mose?"
