Vintage Barbie Haul! 

I don't know if you've noticed it yet, but the fairy Barbie has pointed ears. That's not the most common thing with Barbies. I love all of these. Ghanian Barbie has one of the cutest faces Mattel has ever done.

I've been buying older dolls on eBay. They are cheaper and better quality than the Barbies that are made today. My favorite recent purchase was a Gene doll she's one of the prettiest dolls in my collection. Such great detail. Sucks though the shipping is more than what I paid on the doll. But it's still cheaper than the collector dolls Mattel puts out.

For me vintage Barbie is like up to 2005 or so, those eras are everything. I know Barbie's fallen quite a bit compared to those days but she is truly an icon and legend for the types of dolls we have gotten from through the decades. We would not be here with so many cool dolls without Miss Barbara. The fabrics on the fairy barbie like that would be $100 now for any new release that even dared use such fabrics. The pool is so cute. I loved pool playsets the most as a kid but I never really had any because they were more expensive than dolls and we were so poor.

I completely understand why you're so excited over the playset. I had a Bratz spa playset as a kid, and I loved it so much! Just thinking about it now makes me so nostalgic!

OMG okay so this is hilarious- when i was like 7 i asked for “a boy Barbie” for Christmas from Santa and i got the baywatch ken doll, the only doll i had as a child. YESTERDAY i went on eBay and bought one, and he’s arriving on Friday. It’s funny to me because he’s my childhood doll who’s a lifeguard and you posted a video of your childhood Barbie pool. I love how excited you are about the pool, i want to see it when you get some swimsuit Barbie’s - it’s so cuuuuuute! I will probably be emotional when i get my ken on Friday tbqh so i get it 😭🥹

Aww seeing your emotion getting your childhood doll pool back was so sweet. I was the same way when I got my childhood barbie house back. I too, did not end up keeping my childhood dolls even though I loved them. I handed them down to my half sister when I felt "too old for dolls" 🤦 she didn't live with me and she gave them all away without asking a few years later 😭. It's all good though but I love rebuying my favorite childhood barbies back. I just bought a vintage Swan Lake ballet barbie today! I love the ones you got, especially the morning sun and forest fairy.

I loved this! I had a very similar Barbie pool playset when I was a kid, but it attached to the side of your bath tub & turned your tub into the “pool” area! It had similar “shower” features & a slide, which made it so much fun to play with! It was great seeing you delight at the water features just like I would have lol. You should totally get some 90s swimsuit Barbies to go with the pool! My favorites as a 90s kid were Sun Jewel Barbie, Tropical Splash Barbie, Ocean Friends, Glitter Beach Barbie, & Wet N Wild Barbie (w/ a color change swimsuit). All of these are still readily available and really affordable on secondhand markets!

Beacuse of your Barbie dolls, i want to collect barbies that have high quality. İ have eyes on a Barbie bmr doll, two of them actually. Find at a good price as second hand doll in an app. So excited! P.s: im rn able to buy weeks following (öne times a week) but im doing like you "not buying a doll one week, month" etc. So i think my general purchase amount is two dolls in a month. İ wish i was able to find these dolls in my area for a proper price.. well that was long😂🎉

I love the Fairy of the Forest and have been interested in her for awhile. I have the Fairy of the Garden and I just love her ;) So much fun getting to find beautiful dolls with better quality than what we have nowadays. I am happy you were able to obtain something from your childhood that you loved. That is definitely a cool playset and looks like a lot of fun. I would love to have some dolls from my childhood but I have to get reproductions since the originals are expensive and hard to find. I'm the original Barbie so I had the dolls from the 60s and they all disappeared around the time my father remarried. I wish I still had them because they are so iconic and the outfits were so much better than todays Barbies for the most part. Great video Sweetie and I really enjoyed sharing in your excitement

Aww I'm so happy for you! It was lovely watching how happy your childhood playset made you. I had a foldable Barbie playset when I was a kid and I loved it so much. I actually hated Barbie back then because I thought she was prissy and I was a tomboy so I'd toss her aside and just use my two fingers to walk around the playhouse LOL
