I want a restaurant themed after Evangelion where you have absolutely no idea what anything is and what is happening around you. (I'm only joking, as a long time fan i understand most of what happens)
@@thebeefcow3915not right now, but the manga started getting new chapters again a couple years ago so a second season might happen a few years from now
@@Chokun-Gamingone can hope tho. The original studio that made the show got arsoned and killed most of the staff. It might happen, but time will tell.
@@gabztried no they got literally arsoned. many staff members died. That's the reason it probably stopped. I have never felt more sad about something like that incident. they were all passionate people and one mf destroyed their lives and work. I still hate this incident to this day and cry for the people that lost their lives.
There's no way that guy wasn't an employee, that's just too thematically perfect to be real. Like I could see that being a gag in the actual manga/show if it continued.
Holy god above in heaven this is the greatest short I've ever seen. Hyper specific to one of my absolute favourite things of all time, one of my favourite youtubers sharing my love, and the final moment being almost exactly like a hyper-meta sketch from the show
Oh my gosh, I never watched Nichijou but the food and drinks look so cute and it’s also clever that they’ve included references to the show. So much attention to detail!
I was just reading the newly released Volume 11 -- I haven't seen anything Nichijou pop-up in my YT feed in years, so I can't deny that I was shocked to see this video as soon as I was done! Looks amazing! If I ever visit Japan, I'm gonna have to hunt this one down!
Nichijou is very dear to my heart, when i was experiencing some rough depression i once started up my pc to find nichijou torrenting on there. I asked my bro abt it cuz hes the one who taught me how to torrent, and he was the one who torrented it indeed. I was a little pissed at him for just getting on my laptop without my permission, but after watching it i was very touched because i could tell he was trying to cheer me up. Id love to go to this cafe with my brother someday. Im also thinking of buying the blurays for this anime just cuz just the whole gesture is still touching to me
Big fav, has the deceptive appearance of another generic slice-of-life poopoo anime, but has seriously fantastic comedic pacing combined with absolute chaos nonsense, animation is so extra bonkers too for some of the dumbest shit, so good!
I saw a video of someone ordering yakisoba here, and they got fried mackarel in a box just like when yuuko misheard mio's lunch order. Crazy amount of references!
Hi, Nichijou fan here I just search on google if there is a Nichijou accessory shop in Japan and I was routed here haha. And I'm just amazed your experience in that cafe and Iol to the part when Yukko dropped the curry. Hope I wanna get there someday :0
Absolutely adore the food designs. Idk, it's just something that makes me happy about seeing food that actually references the show in such a nice way. Man, even if it isn't tasty at all, the representaiton rules here.
The fact this is a thing in 2023 blows my mind. I thought this would’ve been a one time only kind of thing that existed when the anime aired like 10 years ago
You dont know how long i have been trying to find the name for that anime. All i rememberd was the cat witha red scarf talked and the girl with the key on her back's toe flying off when the key was turned... Anyway, time to finish watching this anime
One of the few anime i watched (i did like 9 in 2012), honestly i feel like i watched history because many are still talked today as cult classics, yet i mostly watched comedy stuff. I loved Nichijou, i would like to revisit it some day.
Nichijou is one of the absolute funniest shows out there. It has a vary particular Japanese kind of humor, so it may seem kinda scattered at first if you're not familiar with that type of thjng, but the jokes are just nonstop banger after banger. Highly highly recommended
The show never even registered as something I would be interested in at a glance, but I happened to watch a few clips and it had me in tears! What I really love the most is the insane amount of effort they put into the animation for the dumbest of jokes.
Its bizzarre that it is in Osaka since it takes place in Isesaki, Gunma. Its also sad bc I live in Gunma and its my favorite anime but the restaurant is so far away
I am moving to Japan soon and the fact that this will be in the city I move to made me cry I absolutely loved nichijou it was my therapy anime during peak quarantine times
I was gonna say they gotta hire that guy, but the sheer fact that he is just a customer is what makes that experience so hilarious and in line with the show 😂
