I love Viv, she is my favorite character in this game (and Dorian), and I actually agree with a lot of her perspectives, thus I get the positive version of this scene. That said, I have to admit that I loved how she answered the Inquisitor (who is my least liked protagonist, by the way) here. Viv, you are amazing, congratulations to your writers and VA 😎. You always get what you want and at the same time you fought for order in Thedas. Very clever.
I think that Vivienne is the only realistic choice for divine. Leliana is just too optimistic and Cassandra lacks charm and charisma. Vivienne is hated by so many because she has a point. Mages are too dangerous to live uncontrolled.
Vivienne is hated because she is hungry for power and without the circles she has no way of affirming herself. In fact, Vivienne does not join the university of wizards if you choose to give freedom to wizards because she is not interested in solving problems, but rather establishes a personal circle. If the point were to return to the status quo then Cassandra would also be hated.
@@Trattato68 That really depends on your views regarding the subject and the choices you made. When you gain a more positive approval rating with her she explains her point of view a bit more. I have to say I can't deny that she has a point when we're confronted with demonic possessed child mages causing mayhem.
@@micca903 idk about the demon possession anymore tbh. It just sounds like a bunch chantry anti-mage independence propaganda. I mean think of it this way.... with all the many issues tevinter has, and don’t get me wrong they have A LOT. I feel like demon possession is never that big of a problem there from what I can tell.
@@jasonmoise3586 What do you mean it's propaganda and not a big problem? We encounter several cases in the games. And we don't know enough about Tevinter really. But we do know that they also have templars. So demonic possession is likely something that happens in Tevinter too.
