Absolutely love these longer videos mate no frills just a bloke getting shit done in the shed, keep pumping out the quality content and keep doing you brother 👍 🤙🍻
It's funny, our old family VL looked exactly the same as yours. Back in the day, dad added the interceptors because they were 15's and the VL came with 14's factory. He also lowered it. He wasn't into modified cars, but it's just how it turned out.
Jake you’re truly an inspiration for us car guys keep the awesome video’s coming as it sure is motivating to finish my projects . Shed life is the best life.

Good job mate, we just put a sheet of ali or tin under the tanks as a stone guard . I use John guest fittings as per caravan/motorhome plumbing, very easy to fit up.😊
Excellent series and channel mate. Stop dwelling on the negative comments. A lot of Salty people out there, that cant do and don't have what you have. Thanks for sharing and paint the thing any colour you like...its your money. That young fella, in 10 years he be begging to start to car :)
Hey Jake love your videos mate, what would you recommend to clean up a chassis and re coat it . On a home drive way. Should I just go the whole hog with a wire wheel or is there a rust converter that actually works ?
people can say what they like about those wheels ,when they were made they were called turbos we never called them interceptors ,heres some trivia the ute wheel in those year models where a thicker steel and the wheels that had a truer runout went on cop cars
Vl cops cars DID NOT have 15x7 wheels, they had 15x6 but the offset is different, they were apart of the government police package, 15x7 wheels didn't come till late 90s. I currently have to unrestored bt1s in my fleet both with the correct offset 15x6 wheels and original tyre placards that state 15x6
Even states the 2 different 15x6 wheels for a vl in the original gm Holden parts catalogue, no 15x7 wheels at all in the vl catalogue. 15x7 came with the vt when the police code changed from bt1 to 9c1
