Rock is most certainly popular in anime openings, but it's definitely not the only genre used! _Elfin Lied_ straight up has an original opera composition, _Baccano!_ goes for jazz, while series like _Haibane Renmei_ use a more acoustic folk music. Also speaking of vibrato, this was HUGE for vocalists in the visual kei genre back in the 80s and 90s!

Bruh, the Jrock & VisKei scene has been killing it for eons. So I definitely suggest checking out the full songs. Might I suggest SID & UVERworld. A few of their songs came up and you seemed to have your interest piqued on them. Both are veterans in their fields. One artist I'm surprised didn't show up at all was T.M. Revolution. When I was younger I swear I heard him on so many anime intro/closings. But also check out the OP's for Jujutsu Kaisen, they are all bangers and killing it before Bling Bang Bang Born came around.

14:40 Myth & Roid's songs often have pretty interesting melodies they are a Japanese pop rock band and their music is really cool and unique. I would definitely recommend checking out the 100 Legendary Anime Endings video too!

Tender rain/beautiful rain -a song from soredemo sekai wa utskushi (the world is still beautiful) is my fav anime song all the time. I still hear it from time to time despite the song release in 2014. That song never felt old and always keep my heart string everytime i listen to it especially during the rainy time❤

a lot of anime have especially beautiful ending themes as well. I love "Climber" by Galileo Galileo, the ending for Haikyuu Season 2. So underrated, but so good.

Oh yea these songs have a lot of movements and pieces that make them super saturated and musically rich most of the time. That food wars opening at 2:43 is still on my playlist, love that artist. 3:12 Sid is a good artist to see you react more to! 3:30 Vickeblanka have a very unique style of music and vocals. 4:50 Bradio is a great one, I love their work. 6:39 Jojo's Bizzare Adventure has an amazing assortment of Opening, Ending and soundtracks that are so unique and awesome. I'd definitely say to at least check the openings and endings out.

Yeah, you really don't get the meat of the songs from the short clips. Hearing a soft melody before it drops into rock, beautiful visuals that match the intensity of the music, the way some openings build to prepare you for a moment. A few seconds doesn't cut it.

Anyway, I heard that many Mexican people who watched that late show didn't sleep that night and watched the whole show till the morning.
