Since you enjoy the pop side of Dimash so much, you might want to check out "Our Love" (not to be confused with "Your Love") from his appearance on the show "The Masked Singer". It's a chinese show where the judges need to guess who the masked performer is. They are not just masks, but they are actually full costumes. Dimash went there with an eagle costume, which he later said he chose because the eagle is the animal that represents Kazakhstan. Anyways, the performance was mighty impressive, the song is 100% pop, but it was brilliantly arranged. Dimash was of course a legend, as always, and it was pretty obvious it was him under the mask. The only caveat is that the video is heavily copyrighted, so I'm not sure if you'll be able to find the actual footage for your reaction. There are many videos of the song that only show snapshots of the performance. In any case, it's super interesting vocally, so check it out if you want.

If you compare this live version with the official MV, you will find that it is quite different, he tells a very different song there. Plus he doing all the backing vocals himself, layers and layers of Dimash happily warbling away, it is so amazing.

You should see his concert performances! You see that audience connections all the time. He’s so warm and personable! The Singer performances were great too!

His concerts, even watching online, are all epic. Take a few evenings as a gift to yourself and watch them. His vocal talent is only matched by his charm and charisma, and you get to see what a humble and gracious gem he is.

Yup, the chinese tv production 'evened' out the volume on the recording as there are certain rules for tv shows in china about audio levels... or so I heard. I think there is a version where this is not done, but I don't know which one it is. This song is often towards the end at his concerts and is super fun. The whole audience sings along and he runs around and even down among the audience (when possible). It is also one of the few I can sing along with... yay!

I have a friend who's a very good singer and he loves Dimash as well. He says that this is so unfair because he love this song but obviously wont be able to sing it completely because at times Dimash goes so high, it makes it virtually impossible for any man to reproduce.And I fully understand him and told him that Dimash is someone that you can only listen to him but no imitation possible.

This song I think is meant to be a sing along song for his concerts. You have probably mostly seen him in the more formal concerts but his solo concerts are something else entirely. Dimash thrives on interaction with the audience. Mostly in the beginning it was in China with Chinese songs that they would sing back to him. But then as he moved into Russia there were Russian songs that were famous and he would sing them with his audience participating. When he was planning his concert in New York I think he wanted a song that would be good for all languages but specifically English speakers. Funny thing is though, when he got to New York people were singing Russian, English, Chinese, and Kazakh to him. I think it blew him away! If you are curious about his more pop-ish side he has quite a few songs. However, maybe you could start with the song he composed when he was 16. He's 18 here singing it. When the video clip with this song came out, there were a number of comments that the song was not for Dimash. The song is excellent, he sings it beautifully, the clip was boring and old-fashioned - it's true. And then this performance appeared and everything fell into place. True, for such a song and show you need to do better, it's worth it. Moreover, with such a brilliant performance! Bravo, Dimash! I wrote a comment under the video with this performance - we see how a real star came up, seriously and for a long time. We are all lucky that we live at the same time with such a person and artist! I recommend the video in AGT 2020 of a young girl from Kazakhstan, Tears of gold, Daneliya Tuleshova. She was competing with Dimash in World´s Best in 2019. She is only 13 years old with a very mature voice for her age. There is another video of her when she was 10 years old in The Voice Kids Ukraine singing "Stone cold", the level she shows at her young age is impressive.

The stage lights imitated the design of the MV. You'll see the red fire and blue water sections in the video.

in one of your other videos you mentioned his ability to go from high to low within seconds. i suggest diva dance bastau version. the song is meant to be unsingable, but dimash does it spot on.

11:26 i think from my observation regarding the audience, kinda speaks for itself in how the audience r arranged. Standing audience: definitely a more chill atmosphere, dimash can actually go down to the audience midsong to say hi. Sitting audience: a more serious tone, very formal. There will be piano, violins, choir, the whole 9 yards front n centre together with dimash. N dimash’s demeanor is also more.. i wont say reserved.. but more serious. Granted, yeah ur right. Even if it was seated audience, i wud be giving a standing ovation. Probably they were too shocked n confused at wat they just witnessed 😂😂😂 Btw, i can tell from the flushed look on yr face, u definitely enjoyed the song hahaha

Not a pop fan so this song is not my thing. Dimash sounds great of course and he puts lots of his technical ability in. But what I love about Dimash is that he's the full package and this song is imo beneath his emotive talent. Loved your enthusiasm for it though.
