The voices of veterans come alive as former military men and women share their very personal and poignant stories of service. VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project is the culmination of storytelling workshops by Orange County theatre artist Dave Barton.
In June and July of 2020, VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project interviewed a dozen veterans, asking them to talk about their art. Joshua Lang served in the U.S. Army in both Iraq and Afghanistan after 9/11 as a helicopter mechanic; and, after his service, developed a passion for filmmaking which he used to create an original documentary about the experiences of the people he served with.
VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project is presented by Arts Orange County, Heroes Hall at the OC Fair & Event Center, and the Tierney Center for Veterans Services.
