Vokora sent this fog machine to try out and review. I'm always happy to review any haunt product so I was more than happy to give an honest review. This one is a little weird as far as fog machines go. There are a lot of them out there with LED lights, but this one also has a disco ball built into it! It's a pretty neat idea that actually works pretty well. The lights are bright, but don't project very far from the source so you aren't going to disco up a large room with it, but an average sized room would work fine for it. There are a lot of colors and combo settings you can do with the ball or LEDs. Either can be used alone, or together. The ball is sound activated and shifts colors when it hears music or other loud noise. I wish there was a way to set the random color change of the ball to a solid set color, but there is not. It randomly changes color pattern on it's own so you are just kinda stuck with whatever the disco ball decides to do. The solid LEDs however can be set to a multitude of colors and there are several preset fades and blends on the remote. The strobe setting on the remote starts the LEDs rapidly flashing a white light, which pretty effectively mimics a real strobe light. The machine comes with 3 remotes, one that plugs in the back with a VERY short cord and acts as a corded button remote and receiver, a small keychain remote for fog activation and a third remote for the LEDs. The plug for the corded remote is not the standard squarish plug most inexpensive fog timers use. It has a round 3 hole plug that is larger than the DMX type of plug on more expensive machines. I'm not sure what the plug type is or if there are compatible timers available for it. The fog machine part of the machine is nothing special. Just a basic fogger like all the rest. Output is decent, but a little less than I thought there would be from a 600w machine. The fog fluid tank is very small. I would expect to have to refill it a time or two during a party or Halloween event. I would say that at around $60 on Amazon this is not a bad buy for small events. Younger kids will LOVE the lights and fog. For a big event or a serious Halloween fanatic, this might not be the best choice because of he low output and the lack of a timer, but it would work great in the trick or treat area (as we intend to use it), just not as a stand alone unattended machine due to the lack of a timer.
