In your hands, the bass sounds like two or three guitars altogether. Not sure how you even do it. I genuinely believed the band consists of like 3 guitarists until I googled you guys... This bass has been killing me since the very first notes, thank you so much for sharing these playthroughs

Ever since I found out about you guys a few years ago, every single song released since has been among my absolute favourites. Not a single miss or sideways step; just greatness upon greatness. No other band has done this for me besides VOLA, despite me absolutely loving those other bands as well. You guys are phenomenal, and the tastefulness and skill with which Nicolai plays is just a great demonstration of what makes this band amazing; simplicity intertwined with tasteful complexity, musicality, groove, and aggression.

When I was 16yo I idolized Ryan Martinie who played a Warwick thumb. It was my dream instrument but was forever out of my reach. Played music forever, owned countless amounts of different gear - bass gear, drums, PA gear, recording gear, guitars - a forever revolving collection - sell something to buy something… In my 40’s now, 13 years since the last time I owed or touched any gear - it’s music like this that makes me sorely miss music. I used to be good… played in many different bands from highly complex black metal to top 40 rock…. Growing up sucks sometimes.
