Fair play!, I've had a 2009 2.0TSi GT for 4 years now and I still have to stop and look around every time I get out of it. Best 'everyday' car I've ever driven and I've driven a broad range in my time
I am 14 and I know about it. The only reason I know about it is because my dad had one, till I was 3. He ice raced with it. It one a whole lot of races. But then he sold it and got a VW Corrado. That thing was awesome!!
the concept of this looked much better.. i overtook one of these on the motorway, and couldnt believe how much the front end of it resembled a 'toad' in the rear-view mirror..
If you don't like: - The language - The man - The car - The driving style of the man Please, don't write stupid comments @L03PT and Bulgdoom , especially those damned germans, they are all making jokes, but they still have my bike... ( only dutch people will understand that probably)
For the English speakers, they used to subtitle their movies, maybe that'll be done later on. However, nice vid guys, and certainly an interesting car to say the least, although, seeing that this car starts at 27k euro's I'd rather go for the BMW 1. Keep on going!
im german...dutch is like an older german from around the 15-17 th century. there are a lot of parallels in grammer also now a days. but beside that...nice car...i loved the old scirocco and was very happy, that they made this beautifull remake ;-)

He's got to be one of the funniest road testers out there. But he really liked the car. That's all that matters. Sure, Dutch sounds funny to Americans, but we sound just as funny to some other cultures. Whatever.
@1971ojoalparche1971 I dont know if these prices are in Netherlands or where is this from, but here in Slovakia is the cheapest Scirocco for 21960 and the best model for 35050, tax included.
yeah, i figured that out after i posted the comment, but even knowing that, it still sounds like german with an american accent, lol. some people in my german class sound like that.
does anyone know the performance numbers on this? I mainly want to know slalom time and lateral G's. Mainly to see what kind of improvement it is over a GTI.
theres really no need to come and watch this video just to insult his language or voise...respect his language and where he comes from there are many other reviews of this car in english so why not go and watch them?
@tyomzo nouja, als je het toch geen probleem vindt, kan ik ook wel nederlands gaan praten hoor. maarja, sommige mensen hebben geen zin om het te vertalen, omdat de meeste reacties toch alleen maar dom zijn. Plus google translate is ook niet altijd goed in vertalen, heel veel dingen zijn fout! Maar gelukkig is Litouws geen officiële taal... Gelukkig maar ;)
@1971ojoalparche1971 its not for 46,000 euro mate its only 27,000 euro for the 1.4 TSI motor 122 HP and add more 2,500 euro if u wanna the 160 HP TSI motor so i dont think that u can get alot of better car with this price...dont u think so ?
