First I drain the water separator on the pre-filter and then I replace the filter unit. After a successful refilling of the filter unit I change the fine dieselfilter and vent out the system.
To make the venting out go faster you can put on a finger to the vent hole at the fine filter while pumping, due to the pump sucks the diesel from the pre-filter and it will then create a wacuum and suck up the diesel much faster.
When the diesel almost reach the top at the vent hole you can pump out the rest of the air and then close the hole with the screw.
