Three quick tips from my experience replacing the complicated Oil Trap / PCV system for the 2002 Volvo V70 2.4T (P2: S60, S80, V70, XC70):
Tip 1: Disconnect The Battery!
Tip 2: Start Installation from the Upside Down Banjo Bolt
Tip 3: Straight 10" Extension to "THAT ONE BOLT" for the Intake Manifold
This was a complicated repair project with many parts removed from the front of the Volvo I5 turbo engine. I took plenty of pictures along the way to make sure I could get it all back together.
Be sure to watch this RU-vid video from WatchJRGo working on an S60 for a professional mechanic in-progress on the Volvo P2 system.

POORLY DESIGNED Volvo S60 PCV System COMPLETELY Clogged With CARBON
I discovered this WatchJRGo repair video from a basic Google search. At the time, I had no knowledge of the WatchJRGo channel or the related 'Witchita RU-vid Car Mafia'. This is a great how-to video starter and it gave me the confidence to start this project on-my-own in my humble garage with limited tools.
I highly recommend purchasing the entire Oil Trap kit with all of the related hoses, new rubber seals, clamps, etc. I purchased my Oil Trap kit from IPD at $339. The Oil Trap box on my V70 was replaced about 4-years earlier but the hose connections for the Oil Trap were not replaced at that time. Approximately 60k miles later, those older hose connections were leaking and leading to my replacing the entire Oil Trap system again - this time replacing everything new at the same time for operational longevity moving forward. Even at only 60k miles, I still broke the small diameter plastic line nearing the upside down banjo bolt on the intake manifold. Luckily, I was installing a completely new kit!
Since I was taking off so much of the Volvo I5 Turbo engine intake system, I decided to install upgrades from IPD including Phenolic Throttle Body Spacer, Turbo Control Valve, and Compression Bypass Valve as well as various silicone hose lines.
The new installation is now approaching 14,000 miles without issue - including much improved turbo performance from the additional upgrades while I was in there.
