Sputnik alright you really only know Patrice from his stand up. Patrice wasn’t likable to ppl around him and him and his friend were very brutally to each other so if Patrice didn’t practice what he preached I’m sure they would’ve bashed him for it. I’ve heard countless of dudes call in while he was on the radio and tell him how he changed their lives. I’ve never heard tht just because someone is dating a single mom tht makes them a “simp” tht sounds like some personal rule type shit. Patrice actually spoke on why he waited 9 months to smash, I don’t remember exactly why but I do remember how she showed signs of wanting him to. You gotta listen to him on the radio because you wildly inaccurate.

He was big and it was before all this health stuff (he even said changing ethic is hard as an adult). He was also with Von for a long time (she's "a trooper!") so there was a lot of other stuff in play with that "marriage". Besides, he said that the ring meant whatever she wanted it to mean...she was with him for 5 years and he was with her for 6 months, etc.

Von says she regrets not pursuing stand up earlier but I think she is right that it was better that she devoted her time to being a good mother instead of going on the road for her comedy. She still has time, and her daughter grown up.

Patrice was awesome. I still ponder on some of his jokes because despite my resistance, I found them to be true. I cant tell that she is a comedian because I didnt laugh once during this interview. Dont do a whole bit but show some funny.

Ya know what? After listening to Von I can TOTALLY see how she would be really irritating. But it is interesting that she was open to being changed. That's really rare and takes an amount of energy I could never put into another person.
