Dave Chappelle, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy (Standup only), Chris Rock, Bill Burr, Jim Jefferies and some people seem to think Louis CK is hilarious but I can’t imagine why - guess they just like ugly awkward dad humor. I love finding a new comedian but real quick I go through all their material and gets old watching the same shit but then when I find some new shit it’s amazing. Makes my day finding new material.
I just put a freind of mine who has never heard Patrice onto him. His take on women is superb, he came off as a misogynist to a lot of people but to me he was just being honest, just being Patrice and I loved him for that. The World is a lesser place for him not being in it.

After watching his Elephant in the Room special you can see how he was putting much of the material together. Such a brilliant comedian & a tragic shame he no longer is with us.

my dude one the hardest parts is Patrice was too funny and one of the most hated for being unapologetic genuine and still had to live life with diabetis and be around fake people. Going down slow by howling wolf was Patrice way of saying good bye.
He was hated bc he would go into a meeting with the ppl that were going to give him money to do a job/movie and he would obliterate them and make fun of them, mercilessly. Jesus, the swine flu bit. The more I listen to Patrice, the more I can see how wise he was and how much of his decades old material can be related to this second. The man was revolutionary, and honestly my number 1. Funnier than Carlin, but both wise and utilized societal flaws, Patrice just knew funny more.

I miss my guy SO MUCH..one of the realest people I ever had the pleasure to be in the presence of, (we went to high school together..I played BBall..he played football)..but he wasnt the Opie & Anthony dude that he is loved for..he LOVED everyone, black, white, brown, or other..I remember him doing a rainbow joke in the lunch room (1987..our PE teacher was a dyke name Ms Cohen, she wore shorts the whole year around and she also taught English in the shorts and hoody)..one day P said to her..remember its Boston in the Winter..its like 25 degrees on this day..and P says to her in class "your trying to teach in shorts..its 25 degrees outside like we dont know you've been left here to save the world bitch"...everyone starts dying!!..then he says.."bitch I dare you to go into ANY bar and take glasses and a jacket of a MF and see if you show up to teach tommorow"..EVEN SHE started laughing!!..P was a legend.
