English: God bless Christian Borle German: The filter??? Omg??? He sounds so ANGRY Italian: Very good!! Latin Spanish: I love Val’s “sexy.” Vox sounds like he’s gonna kill someone 😭 Spain Spanish: Pretty good Canadian French: Super intimidating, good! France French: That is a DEMON Hindi: Kinda underwhelming, but good! Japanese: Isn’t that Twice from MHA? I’m getting flashbacks. VERY angry, I like it Br Portuguese: Sounds like an indie game clip Thai: I love Val’s voice. It’s probably the closest to the original “VAL” imo Turkish: Same thing as the Hindi one
Weird how most translations make Vox sound a lot more aggressive compared to the originals "I'm so sick of putting up with your tantrums, piss baby" energy.
Fun fact:valentino br portuguese VA voiced Baptiste (overwatch) and Rakan (League of Legends). Vox br portuguese VA voiced Muscular (My hero academia) and Tsukasa (Dr Stone).
SERIOUS?? That's cool, I already imagined that the voice actors from vox and Val in Br Portuguese were dubbing other works, it was really cool to know that! :D
Fun fact:While in the original translation Val calls Angel a "twink",in the Italian one he calls him a "fr*cio",which is litteraly the italian way to say the F-world.
Valentino EU French VA is also the french voice of Arthas from WoW, I think it kinda fit for a character as sadistic and horrific as Val. Also, Vox EU French VA is known for being the first voice of Brook in One Piece, being in a musical like HH is truly fitting for him 😂

English: The original, yes German: Val and Vox sound fine, when Vox screamed at him the filter made it sound like a laggy discord voice call. It made me laugh hard. Italian: The voices are really good. The only thing is that the delivery in Vox's "VAL!" could've been better. Latin Spanish: Val sounds SEXY AS FUCK. Vox sounds really deep and that's... hot too. His scream also doesn't have a filter, but he sounds PISSED, the delivery was amazing. Spain Spanish: Complete opposite of the Latin Spanish one, Val sounds like an old man, Vox's voice is higher pitched, and the delivery in his scream wasn't that good, with no filter too. The voices are ok. Canadian French: I like the voices, The scream felt really intimidating. France French: Their voices are good, especially Vox. But DAMN THAT "VAL!", he sounded really scary there. Hindi: The voices have charisma. Also, at Vox's scream i briefly heard the original english one. Idk why they did that. Japanese: Val sounds really good, Vox sounds dumb LOL, but the scream was amazing too. Brazilian portuguese: Valentino sounds like an old guy here too, but Vox sounds hot as fuck here too, the "VAL!" felt slightly less intimidating than the France one, but still amazing. Thai: Val sounds good, so does Vox. The delivery on the scream could've been better tho. Turkish: Same as Thai, they sound good, but the delivery on the scream could've been better.
Fun fact, the German VA for Vox also voiced - Levi Ackermann (AOT) Chopper (One Piece till Water 7) - Miroku (Inu Yasha) - Shaggy (Scooby Doo) - Castiel (Supernatural) - Collin Farrell And Valentino's VA did - Paikuhan (Dragon Ball Z) - Suguru Geto (JJK) - Rammot (Hunter X Hunter) - Handdevil ( Demon Slayer)
Honestly the best 5 in my opinion. English ["Please dude, stop your shit"] Japanese ["LISTEN TO ME."] Canada French ["Want me to go for the belt, asshole?"] German ["I'm gonna kill you"] France French [*can't write that on RU-vid comments*]
I wish more people talked about this gag. I always thought it was funny how suddenly he does that and manages to startle Valentino of all people with it.
Positive suprised with the german one, really unhinged, also the VA fits Vox so well. I don't why, but the french VA are all freaking living their dream and go full demon in their role!
@@absolutelyn0one (french) Bon, c'est aussi car le quebec est habitué a tournée des séries sombres. Donc, des personnages psychopathe comme Valentino sont déjà bien incarné ici.
Almost all of the other languages are very good especially the German, Spanish and Latin Spanish ones but the French one is just chef's kiss due to how murderous and unhinged Vox was when bellowing at Valentino.
English: the OG, Christian Borle is king German: the Sound effect HOLY SHIT Italian: Nice, but underwhelming Latam Spanish: OK THIS IS HOT and TERRIFYING Espana Spanish: same energy as last time Canada French: ooh nice Metropolitan French: Scary Hindi: Um ... What?? Japanese: why is this kinda cute Portugues Brasileiro: the radio effect is nice Thai: eh. Turkçe: -_-
Sono d'accordo specialmente per i primi 2, dal modo che Vox urla contro Valentino mi da l'impressione che fosse pronto a ucciderlo con le sue stesse mani.
Damn the French dub definitely nailed the scary and intimidating voices hot damn, for Vox here as well as for Alastor, proud to be French lmao :,D✨ But ngl the dubs are all pretty good !
English: Top tier German: Great Italian: It's... Fiiiiiiiine LA Spanish: Lowkey amazing Spain Spanish: Pretty good tbh Canadian French: Great France French: Best one. Devours Hindi: Decent Japanese: Good tbh Portugese: Too much effect Thai: Ehhhhhhhh Turkish: It's... Fiiiiiine
I find it a little weird that everyone talks about how great French Vox' "VAL!" sounds... and seems to completely forget about the magnificence that is the stark contrast between said "VAL!" and his voice before. My biggest gushing point about both Alastor and Val in my favorite dubs of them is always the dicotomy between how they sound composed and enraged. As a Media person, which they both are, they have a "Show Face" and a "True Face". As a Voice Actor, I learned myself that you always have a stage persona, it just comes with the job. And Alastor exemplifies this in his talk to Charlie about the importance of a well-placed smile. And the French dub in this scene absolutely NAILS that. Before, Vox sounds extremely composed, deep bass and sonorous, like nothing could ever rock this man. It also manages to have almost the same sound as the static that suddenly comes in, when his eye does the thing. On the flip side, Valentino talks extremely over the top, also having a timbre at almost an octave higher, further supporting Valentino's fleeting and emotionally unstable nature in contrast to Vox. He also speaks pressured, constricting his throat as if you're trying to stifle a cough, signifying that Val is letting the pressure get to him, whereas Vox is the embodiment of calm... until Val says that he's gonna do something very stupid and Vox shows why he's the boss, letting said composed facade drop for just this single "VAL!", where the filter also raises his voice from his previously sonorous bass to an extremely scratchy high pitch, which couldn't be any more the opposite of what he sounded before and then again right after. I did view the German dub first since I am a German potato (and I have to say, having Vox be voiced by the same guy, who also voiced Castiel in Supernatural, as well as Vicky the Viking during my childhood is an absolute blast) and in that one, it's also really good, especially the emotional delivery. But I have to say, the French beat us in this one. ^^
I mean, he wasn’t supposed to scream or yell at the top of his lungs. And they didn’t even exaggerate the voice filter unlike Germany or France or the original. I think he did fine, a compact “Val”, not too aggressive but not too kind either.
@@absolutelyn0one eh idk. I just felt a bit underwhelmed by it. But like, it's not terrible, just kinda bleh, especially compared to the rest of the Italian dub
