Yes, This does mean that the HTC Vive lip tracker works on all other PCVR headsets :D You just need to find a way to mount it, whether that is my mount method or duct tape, either way, should work :D Especially with the index since you have the front USB port!

Holy crap, Is that NEOS I see? Amazing, neos is picking up more traction! It needs a lot more love. Neos is basically if VRchat, Gmod and a full featured game engine where you have access to everything all in one had a baby. It's a lot better of a social experience than VRchat IMO, but that's just my opinion.
unfortunatly vrc is not gonna implemaent this. like eyetracking. the didnt implemented that. same whithe the fullbody, they only have 3 trackers kompatible unlike neos who hase up to 11 trackinpoints...
In my opinion this does not look like the best tracking ever. I think I was too hyped up for this. But for the price, I can see the point, if you really want to be able to express yourself more in vr.

what do you do if the pc doesn't give you a notification when the face tracker is plugged in? does it matter if it's usb 2.0/3.0...? (tracker light isn't on)

You should be fine. I'm using VirtualHere on a RPi powered by a battery pack to be completely tetherless while using LeapMotion. I hate wires why i love the Oculus Quest 2. Cheers.
