@Reviewing Indian, I recently brought 2022 Model Carbon Steel Grey High Line Plus 1.0 TSI and looking for suitable seat covers. I noticed no seat covers for your polo in your videos. Do you recommend getting seat covers for Polo, preferably PU or Nappa leather?
I'm a fellow owner of a 1.0 TSI highline plus manual and the cornering lamps don't work in my polo with the steering angle. They work only with the indicator stalk. Is it the same in your car???
When It's VW all are in the driver's hand... I have a VW Vento TSI 2020. I'm getting 12-14 KMPL In heavy traffic .. In mild traffic, I'm getting around 16-18 KMPL. In highway, I was getting 19-21 KMPL
Hi Bro, after watching your first video on VW Polo, I have purchased the same car / same color / TSI on Dec 2020, now completed 4.7K km. I was driving Bangalore to Goa and had the similar incident, my front right tyre got cut as the car fell into a massive pothole. Now when I cross 110kmph I feel vibrations, how did you get to know that the alloy had a bend ? I am going to do a wheel balancing and see if the issue resolves.
I've just booked White Polo TSI MT today. Want to get the GT look with Black ORVM caps and Black Rear Spoiler. Any idea how much they are priced at? The dealer does not have stock currently so he's not quoting yet. I did some digging ORVMs at 2k and Spoiler at 8k.. These prices seem quiet OK.. Anything above 10k in total, will give them a miss and use the same for fuel 😉 Suggestions please...
Costs do look similar to what I have been told.. I have put my accessories plan currently on hold as I'm expecting my new motorcycle to be coming soon.. 😈😈
I am planning to buy vento tsi. I am really concerned about the reliability of the 1.0 tsi engine. It is a small capacity turbo engine. It can never be as reliable as honda/suzuki 1.5 petrol. Should I buy the vento ? I don't want my car and engine to give problems while driving other than the scheduled service. Thanks.
A great review ....the mileage stuff is what i wanted to know a lot coz ,I felt convincing after what you had said about it i do felt the same just didn't have a person to discuss on who drives polo ... thanks a lot for that . Have 2 queries 1) Does the polo highline 2016 model have a chance to get the back camera fixed ? 2) How much do they charge for service at ur place once 3 or 2 frecheck up done? Coz here at Vizag ,Andra Pradesh they charge between 8k to 10k for service. Is it same?
Wonderful review!! I am joining the club in a week’s time! Btw, Can you check if the video can be played when the vehicle is idle? I think companies dont allow to play videos only when the vehicle is in motion I own an Innova and it works that way so just want to confirm if it is the same case with Polo as well 😄😄
Sir the distance between my home and vw showroom is 650 km in my state there is no vw showroom..should I purchase polo pls give your advice if yes how can I maintain the servicing of the car .I'm bit confused between new i20 turbo and polo tsi . Polo is my dream car waiting for your valuable advice
@@ReviewingIndian will it be a good buy VW polo highline plus over Ford freestyle titanium for my occasional weekend long or short trip both in some hilly terrain or off-road.
Bought mine in October, done with 7500km checks. Agree with most points. Faced the rubber noise issue, while steering right, got it checked and greased at 500km. The steering system is a new Gabriel setup, not the same used on 2019 polo. Hence the issue, I was told. Overall, best drivers car and value for money.
Hey, is it true that the new 1.0 tsi polo has a problem with steering rack? I mean a few a my friends who own the car complaint about a clunky sound when turning the steering. Is the the case with all VW, skoda 1.0tsi?
My 9.5 years old vw tdi 1.2 gives 17 to 24 kpl under varying conditions. Engine is still as smooth as new. It is 1 lakh kms and I don't feel like letting it go for any other car even honda city or suvs
Thanx bro for honest review , i drove same car upto 5000kms i bought in sept will go for 6000km service and faced same issue ,,, sound when turning steering from rubbers.
It’s called a creep groan, almost all automatic cars with high power make that noise. When you release the brake pedal slowly, the brake will make noise, because the power release on the new polo is tremendous. This should happen while you move ahead, as well as in reverse gear. Unfortunately, you will have to get used this noise.
Reviewing Indian Hi my daily running will be 90-100KM..would you suggest me that I should buy tsi or not? Took test drive & i loved the power it has, just having confusion regarding my running. Kindly suggest ..should i opt figo diesel or Polo TSI? WHat about turbo charger maintenance
Already told you to get it.😄..there is no diesel available now..so your only option is TSI..keep the vehicle for 1 min idle whenever you are doing cold start or stopping after a long drive for longer turbo life...can't comment about anything else now
Yeah..but I'd also suggest you try AMT variant...it's much easier to drive in City...as Tiagos are not very sporty, there is no point in getting Manual
For build quality, safety and if you drive a on high speed on highways under this price segment polo will provide you the stability. For space , features and gc brezza Swift chutyia hai
Bro, I'm gonna book Comfortline Turbo edition within a week....please let me know if you have some advices on this..You know I was getting so many questions when I decided to buy a VW Polo car🙂....I love this car ❤️❤️
@@ReviewingIndian Thank you so much bro. Does the car have any under body protection, Does it need one. Our area is rat infested and I fear rats can get into engine
Many of my friends owning the 1.0 tsi have the complaint with steering noise while turning. Why is it so? VW despite being the name for build quality, why are they making mediocre steering rack? Or rubber boot
You'll get good build quality, average performance, basic features and VW premium brand feel for the price in the base variant.. But will miss that thrilling performance from 1.0 Turbo as well as some must have features and mileage as well

It's not good for 3 adults for long distance journey. Especially if they are tall.. If they are of my height (172cm) then 3 can be seated at a squeeze. Mostly it's good for 2 adults and a child at the back
Hello! I'm planning to buy my first car, I don't have much experience riding cars and I am keen on getting a automatic. Do you think the GT TSI or Polo in general is a good idea for someone like me?
Polo TSI a good choice and I suggest you start with a manual version and then move to automatics ( makes you more versatile). Polo has good power and handling and some people might need some time to get used to such strong power delivery. Hence I suggest you take a long test drive and decide it for yourself 👍👍😁
@@ReviewingIndian haha good point on starting with manual but I think what may end up happening is I will get so sick of it in Bangalore traffic and I will ride way less or just take a Uber! So a better investment of time and money for me would be to just start with automatic. Thanks!
@@ReviewingIndian I was just re-watching this video and I think it would be nice if you could make a small video on the rear parking camera once you get it installed. It will help a lot of people!
1. What is the top speed that you drove in this car. 2. Upto what maximum speed the stability feels better and confidence. 3. I was having Vento TDI when i clock three digit speed the sound of the engine was barely audible, so in polo TSI what is you experience..?
1. Around 170 2. Around 140..after that it depends on roads 3. Being a 3 pot engine, it's audible, but I like the throaty roar of the engine.. Not too loud but audible
@@ReviewingIndian I wanted to ask you , have faced any issues with he disc quality of the polo and would you be open to doing a disc for the rear as well, any pros or cons in doing so.
Always keep pressure 33/34 depending upon the passengers u r carrying. , and drive with the limited speed it will give almost 15 kmpl and on highway 21 kmpl easily.
I liked your review brother, but the armrest issue, i would like to tell it rests in three different positions and the lowest one is quite convenient for resting while gear changing. You can try that. The position u have shown in the video is the middle one, it goes below that. Further u can get volkswagen reverse camera for 10k i got it from showroom itself.
Own the same july version of 1litre tsi manual same as urs Issue faced: door beading rattle Dashboard rattle Not rectified despite multiple visits from 400 kms on wards Done 7500 kms nw Mileage- same as u say, in general 16 overall from my usage And a heavy steering when compared to other brands
@@thurules nop did diy by identifying the rattling piece and fixed it with tape, i feared if the showroom guys open up the dash to fix the issue then it wil loose the factory fit
What I said.. if u want fun u can go beyond an njoy after 1750 rpm at around 2000 still gets 21 kmpl. N If need a good mileage..thn.. it's good too be under 1500 n gets as high as 28-30 kmpl!
@@ReviewingIndian just try it onc..I personally don't own a Polo but want to book as new Comfortline turbo edition is launched at an unbelievable price of 6.99 lacs ex showroom!
@@ReviewingIndian i own i 20 2016 petrol varient... and I have driven 1.0 this polo... polo cannot match the refinement of i20... what is your opinion 🤔
@@ReviewingIndian polo service cost and parts are costly and have some compromise in rear seat space.. what is your personal experience in this regard.
I don't have any issues so far and I am yet to do my full service ( first service is at 15000 kms only 😁)...other costs (washing and small check ups) seems reasonable....rear seat space is slightly lower but I don't have issues as mostly I will be driving only with my wife..my preference was premium build, good safety and excellent performance...I'm happy with my Polo
6th gear is overdrive so it will be less torquey as its for cruising only. Seat recline angle and gear lever position is subjective as I don’t have any issues with it 😀
