Since owning the van I've wanted to have the big syncro style wing mirrors, so I took the plunge and purchased some! Watched a few videos on how to install and gave it a go myself! Pretty straight forward.
Just received my new mirrors this week from bus depot in the states. Going to put them on tomorrow. I’m so excited. After watching your video I think I can manage. Ty they look great on your van! ✌️
thanks for the comment! it is a fairly easy job to do. I am a complete beginner at this stuff and it only took me about 30 mins to do. Only scary bit is drilling into your van lol

I think you've mounted the mirrors onto the bars upside down / inside out than the way they're intended to be mounted. The tightening nut should be on the inside, the van side, and the mirror should sit further out. Was that intentional?
the nut to secure the mirror is already located on the housing and that was closest to the van, so made sense (and according to the instructions) to fit the bolt through from away from the van. there are a few different versions of these mirrors though, maybe others fit different? i will have a look when i'm next at the van but pretty sure it was the only way for this to be fitted.
@@oldmanad After I wrote my comment, I did some image searching and now think you've got it right - sorry. 95% of buses in photos seem to have them fitted that way around. I've got an LT as well and that has them the other way around, which is why I thought they didn't look right on yours, but they are right! Great video - thank you, and happy vanning :)
