Unboxing the Cintiq Pro 27 inch tablet and stand. I also compare the size vs the iPad Pro 12" (2nd generation), Cintiq 13HD, and another Wacom drawing tablet. Our main purpose for the Cintiq is for illustrations, mostly for making graphic novels as well as some commission work. If you are looking for a drawing tablet, I highly recommend the Wacom Cintiq Pro 27!

I’ve had one for about 7 months mounted on a Ergotron arm with two of the extension trays. It’s fantastic. But…it’s been quite a chore with the drivers and all the weird bugs. Pretty typical for Wacom as I had similar problems as an early adopter for the 27QHD.

Can the pro pen 3 nibs fit into the pro pen 2? I know tips is longer on the new one but is the insert part still the same length and diameter ?

I just tried, they don't fit, theyre a bit thinner in diameter so they just fall in. The pro pen 2 does work on the 27 pro thiugh, if you prefer that pen. In my opinion, the pro pen 3 is a lot more comfortable, just not having the eraser is the only downside

Thanks for watching! It comes with all the cables youll need (and a bunch you might not need). Im using the USB C to USB C to connect my imac to the tablet, and the AC adapter for power. Hope this helps!

How do you find the drawing experience compared to the iPad? I feel like the Apple Pencil is super responsive but I’d love a larger screen like this.

Honestly using an iPad IS a really good drawing experience and if youre used to it, you may even prefer it over this depending on what youre doing. I do prefer the cintiq though and the size is really nice. The feeling of drawing on it feels good, responsive and accurate. If you've ever used a wacom product, it's easily the best (I've only used 3). Hope this helps!

Very professional unboxing. I'd recommend messing with your audio levels more because your music is drowning out your voice, the music becomes so much louder when you're not talking. Makes it difficult hard to watch. But I appreciate the video

I don't know 100% because I don't have a Mac mini, but I found this "The HDMI and Thunderbolt ports the Thunderbolt icon on your Mac mini support video output, so you can connect an external display, a projector, or a high resolution TV." which makes me think the answer would be yes?

I actually like the 120hz on the display as well as the customizable pen. I noticed Wacom made the Express Keys built into the display instead of a wireless express remote. I have the 24 pro display and im ok with that. i don't have money for the 27 pro but oh well. Also they seem to have made the 27 look like a color accurate art monitor of the Asus Art Pro or Ben-Q variety.

Agree with you! I think the keys are kind of nice built in, but we rarely use them. I think an express remote might be better. We looked strongly at the 24 pro, definitely a good one. the 27 pro's worst feature is easily the price. I haven't tried the other monitors you mentioned, so I couldn't really say. @tested211 i hate fan noise too, especially high pitched ones, this one is more of a lower pitch fan noise and its not always on. My pc is an imac and is silent.

So if people are looking for a different stand that's cheaper. I know that seems weird but 500 bucks is a lot of money. But I use a HUION ST100A that is a perfect fit and a lot lighter, and comes with everything you need to install four screws. I also use a stream deck for my shortcuts which is way more versatile than anything else I've seen.

in my country they doesn't even bother to have stock for it, by order only, wait time is 2 month, probably because not super popular in here because of the price, and it is in the wacom center in my country, I don't want to wait 2 month for it so I ended up currently not buying it

@@Joshis finally I cave in and pre order 27 pro, yeah the price might be a feature lol I heard it releasing soon, saw brad bought 17 pro one fore review, but haven't seen anyone buy 22 pro unless they were sent one, and for the price I think better just go for the bigger one, especially the 17 pro is not really worth it as you can the 24 old pro, btw great review!

Just looked it up. The stand is separate. Jesus. Remember when wacoms had buttons. Then remember when they had the standard vesa holes. Now they have a wacom-only desktop arm. Wacom only button er remote. Its kind of ridiculious. I put my company wacom in the garage and I use my $799.00 XP-pen, buttons, stand all included. I used to love wacom but without the buttons, its a waste. That er remote sucks too. Had it taped to the side of my Pro 24 with a small usb cable keeping it plugged into the side of the wacom and only used like 2 buttons cause they are al crammed together. Ok, Rant complete.

Appreciate your comment and understand how you feel. The stand is separate, there are buttons on the tablet itself and there are no buttons on the stand. The buttons are on the back left and right sides like a nintendo switch controller however I almost never use them. I just use the pen or the bottons on screen. I do like the hand grip buttons even though I almost never use them.

@@Joshis Yeah, saw the buttons on the back, not the best location. Its just disappointing that Wacom took this direction with their products only to separately sell you other items to make it as complete as it was in older generations. The fact that i have a cintiq 24 pro in my garabe makes me feel dumb in a way since its such a highly regarded product but the usability has gone down. And their desktop arm is not the greatest either. I used Wacoms since 2014, had 3 differen versions, even one of the ol gray ones back in the day. I even bought the one with windows installed, I forget what its called. I returned that one though, the system was a s strong as a surface pro. Ultimately, they're raised prices and decreased its product which is not the best move especially when there are competitors now.
