For context Moira is also a mutant but her power is rebirth, the exact same day, so every time she dies she gets to live her life again, creating a new timeline each time, if you notice every significant change in the X-men movies timeline was caused by her, she was present for the cuba incident and she was the one that woke up apocalypse.

Telepaths are trying to communicate with the cells in his brain, but his cells are constantly dying and being replaced, so the cells that telepaths lock on to are essentially always dead. They can't reach him.

Before spider man got the venom symbiote wade had it for a few seconds, that’s what drove venom so insane. In Deadpool kills the marvel universe professor X tries to enter Wade’s mind to shut him down but immediately goes brain dead upon learning he’s in a comic book. One of the most powerful telepaths in the marvel universe went brain dead just for reading his mind for a few seconds

For example, the whole "X-Men don't kill" is complete BS on the face of it since I'm pretty damn sure Logan has a pretty substantial kill count that puts lie to that particular chestnut. All Colossus is doing is imposing his own personal moral code on Wade. The best way to handle Wade is to surround him with X-Men and let him feel welcome and hope that time will do the work of softening his rough edges, much like Logan. Anything else would be an imposition with Wade feeling smothered and have him running from the X-Men as fast as he possibly can.
