Walking from Rozel to Le Saie Harbour (Part 1)

‪@thereluctantoutdoorsman‬ Today Paddy the cockapoo and I continue our walk along the North coast of Jersey. We set off from beautiful Rozel Bay and head eastwards along the coast road before joining the footpath and dropping down into the woods. This video is Part 1 of 2.

Hi Tom and Paddy. Such a beautiful day for a walking video. Part one I've enjoyed very much.. The green lanes and footpaths in Jersey are such a treasure , which I'm pretty sure you appreciate day and daily. I'll be watching out for #part 2 and then in a wee while I'll be fiollowing you round to St Catherine's. Love it there Have a Jersey icecream for me but share it with Paddy these hot days.🍦 Until then.. Thanks again ☘️

Hi Christine, thanks so much for the comments! Yes, arrival at St. Catherine's and onto Gorey has already been filmed. It has been so nice having a few lovely days, so Paddy and I have been out and about! Part 2 is scheduled for Wednesday. 👍🏻

Hello Tom and the real star Paddy 👍 well I thought i knew all the places along the coast but never heard of Le Saie Harbour so that will be on the list to visit next time. Now I can watch part 2 to see where this harbour is .

Hi Lloyd, despite the fact that I didn't know their names, I had actually been to Le Saie (Le Scez) and La Coupe (next bay around the coast) before. There are very few people down that way! 👍🏻

Hi Tom and paddy G, this part is a real delight beautiful houses, sun, sea, & sand, also the woods look great, hope paddy gets to go on the beach this time, you know he loves it, as I suppose you do too, it's all looking lush in this video! Vlog, blog????

😮 wow Tom and Paddy 🐕🥩🦴 what a beautiful walk my friends if the house nearly 6million has a field of tatties I'll put in a bid 🤔lol such wonderful views again I cannot wait to see the bottom! Never been there well until wed thanks for the 🎥 and a great weekend all the best to you all John 😊😊😊

I would think that you would need serious money to buy a lot of properties in Jersey and not just the houses worth millions. I have to say Tom this is a fabulous walk and yes one would say wow. I have walked all over the Island when I lived in Jersey and proud of the knowledge I gathered but this is a new one for me and wow what a great walk. I hope the golf comp went well.

Hi Nic, yes property prices have dipped a bit over the past few months but they are still very high! I'm glad I've finally found a new path you haven't walked before to show you! 😁 Unfortunately played poor golf yesterday......net 79 and for once there was hardly any wind, so I should have done better. I'm afraid it wasn't even a "might have been" round! ☹️

Never mind Tom, you can’t always play well every time and how ironic when you think you have ideal conditions with the no wind it’s disappointing when you don’t score well. I played my worst round last Thursday in a comp scoring just 32 points and three blobs in a stableford comp. My very good friend whom I’ve played with for a lot of years has been diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas and it’s very bad. He has come from a very fit man to someone that’s not him and it’s not looking good and I doubt if he will be back on the golf course again. I couldn’t get him out of my head and had no focus on my game and it’s so sad but that’s life. Looking forward to part two

Oh dear Nic, I'm so sorry to hear your news! It puts everything into perspective huh! Who cares if we have a bad round on the golf course ........there are more important things in life (although at the time it doesn't feel like it!). Health is the most important thing in life, so I suppose we must take every opportunity to enjoy it while we still have it!
