Walking south from Le Pulec (Part 2)  

Wow that VIEW from the old bunker was fantastic with the beautiful turquoise sea, paddy G loves the beach he can't wait to get on there, he certainly had the wind in his tail, as for the bunker....... No not my thing, I know it is part of the history, but sometimes it's better forgotten, it must of been awful for the people in the occupation.... Have a lovely bank holiday.

I have always found St Ouen wild and rugged depending on the time of the year. I have said this before if it wasn’t for the fortifications along the coast the sea would be a couple of hundred yards further in. I have been to all three Tom and when I first met my lovely wife we went to sands quite a lot those were the days. I’m surprised a local lad like you had never been to the lobster pot. Cheers as always this is my favorite channel of all that I watch.

You ended up exactly where we were, Tom, the military museum bunker. If you haven't been in it please visit, as it is so interesting. Thanks for another walk😊

Hi tom for everybodies information that german bunker you stood on is the german museum with artifacts of the nazi occupation, when i visit the island i make a point to visit it ,to support that museum as it is very good and entry fee very reasonable ,as bad as the occupation was ,it must not be forgotten, a windy walk but a wonderful walk thanks tom for posting this vlog ,your efforts remind us all of this beautiful island

Hi Tom , the DJi mic is doing a great job with the wind conditions which I also forgot to mention on Part 1. St.Ouens brings back alot of good memories for example the night us four lads in our earlier 20s went to Sands Nightclub and myself being chatted up by a girl from Southampton she insisted in sitting in the hire car (Morris1100) for the moonlight 😀what a silly idea !!!. This was 1976 the really hot summer and as a dare we swam out to La Rocco tower at high tide but struggled getting back. Do you find with Paddy G that they will love to play in the water but when you try to give them a bath or wash down they get nasty,over my life I have had 4 Old English Sheepdogs and loved going out in the rain or going in the ses but when it came to a bath it was always a good idea to put on a suit of armour 😁 As always matey great video and always enjoy your commentary especially the frenchy names , on the health issue starting to feel like a younger man again the short walks are building my strength back up for my Cornwall Coastal Walks .Good health and the very best Lloyd 👍👍
