what a game! obviously thrilled we won, but credit to the Aussies you gave us one hell of a game, never a dull moment, i'm also pleased to see that rugby fans can mingle together and share a beer without causing a riot, this should be our national game!
No it shouldn't that would mean the football supporters would come over and start fighting. They fight because that's what they like to do its not over the sport but because they want to fight somebody. If Rugby was the national sport we would have those twats at our games.
Crikey, as a welsh fan - what a game this was! Well done England, got to love the UK teams giving the Wallabies a good thrashing. Gutsy from the aussies at the end though but England did enough!
Looking back, it was inevitable not inconceivable (despite what it felt like at the time and the context of the first game after the world cup). This was the beginning of the worst ever period in the history of the wallabies (2016-2019).
@@xXYellie12Xx 2020-2022 has been better overall but there’s still much weakness even when australia are on the front foot. 2021’s autumn series & july 2022 showed good intent but were not nearly as ruthless as they should in finishing off winnable games and now they’ve fallen from a good start in the RC to an all time howler v the pumas.
@@karlosdeevs agreed... so much potential with the squad they have but something has to be wrong with the conditioning and management of the players. 20+ top players injured in 4 games is absolutely insane - I thought it was just bad luck in the 2021 spring tour but this is now a reoccurrence...
First time I've seen this (I refuse to give Murdoch any of my money). What a fantastic game - highlight for me was the passing for Hooper's try in the 2nd half.
This is a very ordinary Australian team, whose players are in very average Super Rugby form. The second test will be interesting and I think England have a real chance, especially with Pocock missing. It will certainly test the metal of these Wallabies who should be up for it big time. And we may see just how much better the English boys really are.
England have improved under Eddie Jones. And you can tell by this game and the results we sneak past Wales over the weekend but that's the difference in the skills and the talent. The All Blacks have trust in their players and the talent they have to grind out games and come back and win but Wales is a hell of a team though they will be coming hard at us in the 2nd game but i know our boys will be ready. Surprised to see Australia and South Africa get beat..

Brown looks laboured slow. Should be Goode of Saracens at 15. In those conditions he would make huge holes. Ben Youngs why? Should be Care and why the Wasps No9 has never been picked? he would make huge holes with his attacking play.
You mean without Burrell right? Burgess was an asset to england - he was just played with the wrong people around him (ie Barrett). Burrell on the other had is very poor - just very very poor. His only tries for England are average crash ball scores from 10 metres out. He's terrible in defense for a player of his size
I regret the way that burgess was treaded , as for me he have a great potentiel as a front row like he played in bath but we never know how he could be in union !! Gutted !
Israel Falou`s defence in my opinion has always been suspect, there is no doubt about his attacking skills, the Australian selectors persevere, why? Only they know. Good on the English...and I`m an All Black fan..
I would not be upset is Stuart barns all of a sudden lost his voice forever. Calls himself an Englishman... Never heard him say a good thing about England in years. Worst commentator in the history or rugby. How he still earns a living I don't know. Shocking.
