Walmart Clearance Deals Soup to Nuts 

I second the blessing 💗

This pandemic has further complicated helping others. Nearly all food banks refuse perishables. That sucks when you have a garden full of food you are willingly to share. Also, to minimize contact with the virus, most food banks prefer cash donations over food. That sucks when you see deals like these. Having said that, our food donations have not been refused and seem to have been very appreciated.

@@imstillworkin I hear Ya, Susan. When I gave up my home I wanted to donate most of my furniture & as many household items; Lee's tools, you name it. I found a great charity to benefit disabled and or homeless US Vets. They filled a moving van in no time. You name it, they took it. Everything from the snowblower to my tea towels. But recently when my handicap ready apt was finally available & I had to downsize again, & I called them to donate more, they said they only accepted 2 things...scrap metal and solid wood dressers! I hope things get back to normal soon. There are a lot of needy people out there.

We're doing great! Bobby loves to bargain shop even more than I do.

That's a messy job but they sure are worth it.

I might not like something at $1.58 per can, but at 40 cents I'm not so picky, LOL. We tried this soup and we actually like it. Some stores had the end caps of the soup aisle stocked with nothing but the two flavors of Progresso that I bought.

Last year we caught the same mulch on clearance for $1 and thought we would never be able to beat that deal. Boy were we wrong.

Walmart is loaded with deals right now. I bought several pairs of shoes for $1 that were originally $20.

No, we went north for the deals. I've been told that Henderson has lots of the one pound bags of pecans and the clearance prices aren't marked on the shelf.

Agree, usually fresh is better. However, canned foods are much better when fresh isn't available. The whole purpose for stocking a pantry, in the first place. Store foods in times of plenty (as the specials in this video indicate) for times of famine. We've seen many examples of famine in the last few months when grocery store shelves were bare of the things we wanted, often needed!

I guess you missed the videos about the fresh food that we grow ourselves.

I totally agree with you Oldtimer Lee. Keeping a pantry full is always my top priorty. That necessitates canned food, whether it's home canned or store bought. You'll never see me starve because I was uppity about the food I'd eat, lol.
