@@southwestshooters No problem. I am no expert and learn things all the time. I would say my best allies are the windage flags I place between me and my targets. Where I have to shoot, I can get to 110 yards. I shoot from a hill side over a small pond, kind of in a valley flanked by two cranberry fields. It's so hard to read the what the wind is doing in my layout, but it can be 3 different things at the same time the way it wraps around the pond and seems dead against my hill side and appears steady through the troth so to speak. It's so easy to explain the end result when you can clearly see why. It's where the fun is though, trying to account for these things. But it also lets you know, it's not the gun. Things have their limits, that's totally understandable, but within those limits, I want to perform to my and my guns best potential. It's a work in progress. And thank you for your work, the more data the better.

And we will also be looking to do it with different pellets too.... So it really means that we demo any gun with any pellets up to around 65 metres. Thank you for your continued support!

I do think the data is useful, I am hoping that one of the things that this channel does is act as little bit of a library for pellet and gun testing. For anyone reading this comment - Andy is a legend and I have learned SO MUCH from him! A total gent and an ambassador for air rifle shooting in the UK.

And I in return have had the privilege of watch your knowledge and shooting becoming very high...the reason it works is because it’s from you,how you feel and what you see..it’s not scripted and the banter that yourself and professor ballinger have is legendary

It sounds like you have a gun that is underpowered. Take it to your local rfd for some help. I have no experience in altering the power levels. But I can say that please make sure it remains below 12 foot pounds.

@@southwestshooters really good. So impressed with the 60m group. Have you shot further than 60 meters?

@@NitrogenPurged sorry. I've shot at 70 meters with my Red Wolf. I find that with sub 12 guns 60 meters is the maximum distance you can get sensible groups safely.

Thanks Chris, It's just that I was looking to but a tin of the Bisley & it asks me which size do I want to buy so just thought I would ask the question. I have a also just bought a tin of the 'JSB DiabloTest' with seven different pellets to try with my RM8 & there are three sizes (4.50, 4.51 & 4.52) of the Diablo Exact 8.44gr to try. So will try these & then make a call on the size of the Magnums I buy. But thanks for the speedy reply & keep these videos coming.👍👍

May I disagree??? The invention of these multi shot mags is irrelevant,sort of the ‘lazy option’...I personally use single shot whenever possible.be interesting to see the same test with a single shot tray.

@@andyfry745 Personally , I prefer a single shot tray / loader , indeed EVERY rifle I own ( bar my Ultimate Sporter ) adorns a single shot application .. as far as im aware ( and I haven't checked for a few months ) the don't do one for it .. but YES I keep the magazines and use them for " setting up & if need be , a bit of ratting " but that's rare .. the point I'm making is , that MOST people prefer a magazine , that's fine , but if you have to have one , make it at least 10 shot .. I'll stick by my first statement , only having an 8 shot magazine MAY be detrimental to sales , maybe not too the extent of a total sales flop though

@@andyfry745 yes! Of course! Conversation is important as it keeps things ticking along. I think we differ philosophically in terms of out shooting approaches.... But I totally see your point. I am still amazed how good the multi shots are, I used a springer for around 15 years and I am still amazed how good the modern guns are. Perhaps I should spend more time with a single shot tray? For a £500 airgun that's regulated and has a Walther barrel you would be paying nearly £1200 18 years ago. Even a second hand worn out air arms S410 in today's command £430.
