Scarlet Witch was Wanda's "codename" in the X-Men comics and the second Wanda at the end was like an astral projection. Dr. Strange did the same thing in his movie. This way she could study/read and do something else at the same time.
@seriousleesgaming3042

Another thing to consider about the astral projection scene: the sorcerers like Dr. Strange have only been shown to be able to project their astral form while their bodies are unconscious. Wanda is doing it while walking around drinking tea.

Not only did she see Vision die twice before all this but it is really recent to her. Think of it this way. She sees Thanos kill Vision twice, she gets blipped so she doesn't feel the five years she was dusted. Then she is brought back, fights Thanos, goes to Tony's funeral (something Vision never gets), and about a month later visits S. W. O. R. D., creates her Westview and family, and then loses all of them... All in the span of a month or so. She's had no time to process any of this.

The moment where Wanda steps back into frame after creating Vision, having decided to retreat into this new reality she's created, always breaks my heart. Still, everyone should be lucky enough to be called "Wanda" the way Vision calls her "Wanda." 😄 One of my favorite things about the finale, strangely enough, is that Wanda's super hero costume pretty much the whole time is her wearing sweats. And the outfit she ends up creating is beyond awesome.

I really like how they revealed the way her powers evolved in this continuity - basically, Agatha talks about how there are many magic-sensitive, potential witches in youth but those untrained eventually have their magic putter out. Wanda used some here and there by chance but was on the verge of it going away by the time she joined with HYDRA. The mind stone basically took that 0.1% power left in her and juiced her up to 100% power potential. It's like she got boosted to max level with all the best gear in the game but is only just now learning how to play her class.

The Darkhold book was heavily featured in the TV-show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" that ran between 2013-2020 that loosely tied into the MCU movies that were released at the same time. The main character was a supporting character from The Avengers movie. Lmao its all but confirmed now Agents of Shield had ZERO official connection to the actual MCU. Feige never liked it, and the movies were constantly trying to distance themselves from the show in ways that proves they're not connected. The show followed the movies, the movies never acknowledged the show once. Not one time. Everyone loves jumping to that "mothballs with a couple old friends" line from Fury, even though he was literally talking about Hill, that other Shield agent on the bridge, and Rhodey.

White Vision is the real Vision reactivated, and now he's regained his memories. However, it appears he doesn't have the emotional connection attached to those memories. So he remembers being an Avenger and his relationship with Wanda, but they're just memories with any feelings. We assume he's out in the world trying to figure out where he fits now.

On top of all that, he no longer has the mind stone. They were trying to separate the mind stone from him in Wakanda, and weren't entirely sure how much of "Vision" would remain after that. So that's part of what we're going to find out too.

You picked up really quickly that Director Hayward's security footage of Wanda "stealing Vision's body" was just a cut of the actual security footage that left out the part where they let Wanda in and when she left Vision's body there, literally the only way we "knew" she stole his body was because he told us. The best way to think of this show is that Wanda created her Eden and Agatha was The Serpent sowing problems throughout. In the comics Wanda was always the Scarlet Witch. It was her name from her 'evil mutant' days. though she was never evil really. Wanda's mutant powers was 'hexing' where she caused random events to happen to others. They would trip into each other or boxes would fall on them. It developed into reality changing where she had more control and became more powerful. Eventually she met Agatha Harkness who was a good witch and she taught her real magic. Much different from the MCU

The other Wanda at the end was an astral projection like in Dr. Strange. And the old friend in space is most likely Nick Fury.
@DrekeXorn13
@DrekeXorn13 2 года назад
That second form was her astral form, we've seen it before in the first Doctor Strange film. She separated her soul from her body so her soul could read the Darkhold. And thats not good because the more you read the Darkhold, the more corrupted you become. Judging by her children's voices, and the planetary bodies in front of her, it seems she is looking through other universes (Loki series, remember?) to see if variants of her children exist in other universes so she can have her children without sustaining them with magic Also, the Mind Stone is what gave her and her brother, Quiksilver, their powers in the first place! In her outfit she even has a hole in her necklace area to place the Mind Stone, as though to keep Vision near her and testament to her origin Yes, Wanda was born as a legit witch, but most witches do not have enough power to really become a sustainable, powerful magic user. With no training, and her power slowly draining over time, she would appear like a normal human if the infinity stone did not enhance her abilities greatly. One could say it was her destiny to become the Scarlet Witch and the infinity stone simply enabled that destiny

The house Agatha is using as hers is actually the same house that was used for the TV series Bewitched in the late 60' and early 70's. The interiors of Bewitched were filmed in a studio, but as is often the practice they have facsimiles of real houses on backlots that they use for exteriors.

I think White Vision has WHOLE lot to think about. Like the fact that he has Vision's memories, but does that mean he's in love with Wanda? Does a restoration of a person's memories create love itself, or does he need to fall in love with her all over again? Basically he's a computer with the video of their love on file.

Go back and watch the first 3 or 4 episodes again with this new knowledge. So Much happened that everyone missed because they didn't know what to look for and when you re-watch you pick up on loads of things. The perfect example is when they're having dinner. Now you know why the wife was looking at Wanda when she kept saying "Stop it, stop it, stop it...." while her husband was choking.

I agree. Seeing the entire work at it's conclusion definitely makes those early episodes heavier, darker, and more meaningful. Something as small as the commercials themselves hint at the order of the events of Wanda reliving her memories: Stark, Hydra, the Avengers (inferred via Lagos), etc, and add to the entirety. I loved this show when it came out. A year later, it's I'm in awe of it.

Some interesting things about the commercials. It's my understanding that the original plan was to have them be interruptions that were a spellcast by Doctor Strange to try to bring Wanda back to reality. Each commercial related to something about Wanda's reality. The toaster was supposed to remind her of the missile, The strucker Watch was supposed to remind her of when Barron Von strucker was doing experiments on her for Hydra with the Mind Stone, the Hydra soak was supposed to remind her of when she realized her powers after those experiments, the Lagos paper towels we're supposed to remind her of that messy battle in Lagos at the beginning of Civil War where she accidentally destroyed a building, the yo Magic was to let her realize that the only reason her kids were alive was because of her magic and that they were not real, and the antidepressant commercial was to help her realize that she was trying to create an alternate reality based on her own desires. Also, each one of them featured a power related to the Infinity Stones. The toaster commercial represented the mind Stone (she burnt her man and he was toast), the watch commercial represented the time Stone (obvious), the Hydra soak commercial represented the space Stone (wanting to escape), the Lagos paper towels represented the reality Stone (to cover up messes), the yo magic representing the Soul Stone (source of life for the dead), and the Nexus represented the power Stone (to control everything around you).

The key to understanding the post-credits scene of the last episode is the post-credits scene of Spiderman: Far From Home, which takes place AFTER the events of this show, by a few months. The one where we see Nick Fury in space, relaxing on a fake beach hologram on a space station. Fury is Monica Rambo's "mother's friend" who wants to see her. While Fury was running SHIELD and starting the Avengers, Maria Rambo was secretly (and simultaneously) building up SWORD in space, with the Skrulls they rescued in Captain Marvel.

If you look back at the commercials, they were all part of her past, the toaster with the flashing light from stark = the missile, the strucker watch was about the mindstone ect. Also, seems the commercials coincide in order with all the past experiences that Agatha takes her through with the exception of the last 2 commercials, nexus and the yo magic which happens after. Yo magic being her draining Agatha of her magic. I think when she took Agathas power she became a nexus being at that point looking back at the commercial about the drug Nexus. In the comics she is what is called a nexus being. May be spoilers to explain exactly what that is so just leave that at that.

@@TheIcemanthomas Spider-man is my favorite superhero, you can tell because the profile picture and yes, the MCU story arc of Peter was amazing and how they left it with the character is really something special. Wolverine is not in the MCU so his story arc doesn’t count for this, but he easily had the best arc of that shitty universe of fox. Daredevil still has the most complexity, especially after everything how his morality change by the third season. Matt Murdock is easily the best written live action marvel character, and like I said Spider-man is my favorite superhero, second Wolverine and Daredevil is third and I ain’t bias by Spidey, Daredevil character development and everything is the best one. Top five character arc and development in my opinion: 1-Daredevil 2-Tony Stark 3-MCU Spider-Man 4-Wanda 5-Steve Rogers It’s hard comparing tv shows with movies because it’s unfair, with tv shows you can give so much character development with how much screen time you can give the characters, so that’s why i do not like to compare it but if I had too then DD is easily the best written character.

Cassie great reaction as always. What they're doing is trying to fix the mutant situation they have in the MCU. That's what they refer to as a retcon. They are retroactively fixing the continuity of the MCU. Wanda AKA The Scarlett Witch in the comics is a mutant. Their trying to tell you she always had the powers since she used a probability spell on the Stark Missle without even knowing it. Now she always had the powers but the mind stone made it stronger somehow. That's the best they can do to fix the continuity. How the rest of the Mutants are gonna show up is anyone's guess. BTW if you'd like I can answer most of the questions you have since I'm familiar with the comics. I can do it without trying to spoil anything. It's up to you. 1) Her name is Agatha Harkness. In the comics she is a big part of the Scarlett Witches story arc 2) In the comics the kids are real as well but they showed up a different way 3) The Scarlett Witch is one of the stronger characters in all of Marvel comics 4) His name is White Vision. He's also in the Vision's story arc in the comics.

For a long time in the comics Wanda was just a mutant, like all the X-Men and her code name was the Scarlet Witch, because she wore a red costume and appeared to be magical with her mutant ability. In the Marvel universe a mutant is someone who was born with a genetic quirk that gives them super powers. Her mutant ability was to manipulate probabilities, so that the most impossible things would happen, and that's how she would often save her friends or cause bad things to happen that would hinder or stop the bad guys. Later on she gained more power, including the ability to use actual magic. I don't remember all the details but Agatha Harkness was influential in helping her develop this magical ability.

"A thing is not beautiful because it lasts." "What is grief if not love persevering?" Vision has some of the best lines in the MCU. Also, I love the Vision vs Vision fight. Two beings with godlike power, and they resolve it with a conversation about philosophy. That's so Vision. Agatha does actually have a good side. She is complicated. Wanda and Pietro already had powers. That's why they are the only ones to survive the experiments. The Mind Sobre simply altered the powers that they already had. The Darkhold is a very evil book. It was written by a prime evil. You'll meet a prime evil in Shang Chi. The final end credits scene is heavily implied to be Wundagore mountain, a significant location in the Marvel universe. Among other things, that is where the Maximoffs adopted Wanda and Pietro. The alien at the end was a Skrull (who you met in Captain Marvel). She's one of the good guy Skrulls working with Nick Fury. There are some very bad Skrulls out there. Monica's powers are about controlling or turning into energy. She didn't stop those bullets, she sucked the kinetic energy out of them. She changed into some kind of energy si the bullets could pass through her. In the comic books, Wanda has a supervillain biological father who wants to do the right thing, but keeps hurting people, including her and Pietro. Both the comic book version and the MCU version has had a life full of trauma and uncertainty. Vision is stable, kind, and decent above all other things, and that is what attracted him to her.

Agnes was the fake name (Ag)atha Hark(nes)s used. The hex was created by Wanda but Agatha was there to figure out how it happened and kept messing with Wanda’s world. Vision is now an echo of her memory of him and his body now. In the comics he was known as both White Vision and Spectral Vision so when they meet up again their status will be, “it’s complicated”. Finally, we’ll find out what’s going on with her kids in Dr. Strange 2

Although I think the entire "WandaVision" thing was ALL over the place in terms of logic, logistics, continuity and more, it was obviously an actor's paradise. :) I resonate: I used to act for 30+ years (although nothing anyone would have ever seen). Definitely a wonderful idea to be able to 'go through TV history' with shows, time periods, dramatic fun, etc. And WV definitely had a *LOT* of graphics. Like just a TON of CGI. That must've been *insane* post-prod. Like, seriously... holy COW, that's a lot of EFX. Anyhow.

Wanda is one of my favorite characters (right next to Cap). Her story arc and the tragedy in her life brings out the compassion in everyone. Her character is beautifully written but there's no way it could be put forth without the incredible acting of Elizabeth Olson. Her acting in this series alone should be watched and studied by aspiring actors. Through the movies, she's never realized her full abilities and now she is doing just that. I think that's why many were so angry that Captain Marvel was shoehorned in and made to be the "most powerful Avenger" when we all know it's been Wanda all this time. She had Thanos on the ropes all by herself. I'm champing at the bit for her next appearance in the new Dr. Strange movie.
