Hi Chris, I read somewhere that 'Progress is happiness'. It doesn't matter how small that progress is, as long as your life is heading in the right direction and you work hard to make changes, new house, office, bike etc, new work projects, booking a holiday, even planning a ride out on new roads that you've not ridden on before, it really doesn't matter what, as long as positive changes are made then you feel happiness more often! Its all progress! Good to hear that you are feeling more positive. Take care! Paul.
I was watching the latest BBB video on 44T last night and it got me thinking how I've been watching The Baron since I was an awkward teenage pleb in school and now I have a job and a mortgage and I'VE STILL NEVER OWNED A MOTORBIKE FFS

Gladius well... I guess then it's time to finally get one. ✌️😀
44 teeth is the equivalent of old top gear, i'd love to see some more challenges like the budget bike battle and then perhaps have a behind the scenes on this channel
Missed these videos! Please do more......Nice to hear you openly talking about mental health. Lots people struggle in silence but just hearing someone else mention it makes you realise you really aren’t alone.....Keep it up Baron, we love it!
RU-vid used to be full of creative people making interesting original content. Then business types came into the space seeing the pound signs rather than using it as a creative outlet. The golden days are gone.
So glad you're in a good/better place man - you deserve it! P.S. If you're worried about having a mid-life crisis, you've already got a white Porsche 911, so it may have already happened ;)
Yet again, another great video! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love 44teeth, and everything you and Al put into it, but I sure have missed watching you solo riding through the beautiful country side, on a gorgeous day, listening to what you have to say! You had a huge part in me purchasing my R1 last year... Take it as comes! Keep up the great work! I'm a fan for life!
Tbh Baron it's been a joy watching your content man over the years man. Seeing you and Al develop 44 teeth has been an inspiration to follow what you love doing. Just watched the latest Bbb and it's nice to see you enjoying life and living it up. I know you didn't share to much about your tough times but you went through enough to post a video about depression and getting through it, and you kinda helped turn on that light at the end of the tunnel for me man. Anyway enough rimming you for now. Be nice to see you out on the the other jizzy BMW.
Good to see you back on this channel, absolutely love the 44T stuff, especially the BBB stuff. Wishing you many more good days than bad, I too am 40 this year and have just lost a mate of 30+ years to a brain tumour. He was 39. Trying to enjoy life one day at a time because you never know when it's all over. Love to you and yours and all the good people watching this great content.
You have always honestly been the realest, most straight talking honest RU-vidr. An honest guy working hard for what he wants, dealing with honest every day issues never claiming to be something you're not. For that myself and the rest of the internet thank you!
Happy Birthday! I am really glad you publicly address your issues. People need to hear that even someone with a great life can be blindsided by mental health issues. And yeah, that HP4 is pure sex.
Good to see BvG back in the saddle. Watched the 44 Teeth stuff too - all great content. That said, I thought your Tour de Baron was a seminal set of videos and in my humble opinion the best stuff I have watched on RU-vid. So much so it got me back into biking and I haven't looked back since - well maybe the odd life saver. Please keep this channel going if you can as it is quality that others find hard to match. Time for the Tour de Baron - Part Deux!
I so look forward to your vids. Thanks for being open about your feelings. I can relate to much of what you are experiencing. Hearing you talk about it helps me deal with my own problems.
Chris, we've only stopped watching your videos because you've stopped posting them you smeg! Massive fan of 44Teeth though so at least we're still getting awesome content somehow. Keep doing what your doing, you're very difficult to become bored of.
A mate once said “I stopped watching baron because he’s always whinging” I said “no he’s grumbling. It’s in the name” Maybe he will start watching again because your happier. But now your RU-vid name is going to be wrong and the algorithm won’t like that, baronvonhappy. Or something. Wankathon.
Regarding the decline of youtube: An example that comes to mind are some of the gaming channels. Bunch of them shifted their focus to other platforms. And their audiences just went "Ok, we're on here now". Where as there are so many channels moaning about the decline in views being from the addpocalypse and the bots and what have you. Where in actual fact, people just aren't that interested anymore. So many channels that I used to watch have gone to shit because of the "I live of this now, so I HAVE to make videos". And ultimately the content suffers. Another thing are the outright clickbait hungry channels that don't get the views anymore and have turned to bitch about that, that's just the youtube filter system going "nope, fuck you". So the system they tried to play is now beating them instead, and then they bitch and moan about it. And the core audience are the people that really get fucked over from it.
BvG is Back!!!!!!!! Instantly stopped working when I got the notification and started watching. Most importantly glad to hear you are doing well in all areas and life, like the seasons, has turned to spring! (At least for the Nthn Hemisphere, Oz just got cold :( ) As for the HP4, keep the one you have and buy the Race! One of the things we so often forget, even more so when surviving day to day with a mental illness is that we really only get one shot at life, we'll never be young again. No point living with regrets and being the old bugger who tells the story about what he "nearly" did. Most of us wont ever be able to afford a HP4 let alone the Race... But, part of why we are here and loyal subsribers is that we enjoy your successes, enjoy riding shot gun on all the exotic bikes you ride/own and without a hint of jealousy... I cant think of anything better than to log on to youtube to discover a BVG video of you, a HP4 Race and an open Velencia circuit awaiting carbon chaos! Do it, if for nothing else than you deserve it!
Happy Birthday BVG! Always enjoy your videos and videos on 44T. Keep up the great work and I'm glad you're feeling much better. Cheers from across the pond!
It’s been a hell of a ride, Chris. Thanks for all the great content over the years, including 44 Teeth. Very inspirational. Looking forward to seeing your new V4. 👌
Great video!! I wish you all the best.... speaking of ejacualation, a friend of mine was on stress meds years ago and described the same side effects he went to a local Chinese "massage" parlor for a handy and the woman's arms got tired. She said in her thick Chinese accent, "you too strong, too strong "..true story
So happy for you bro, i have been around from almost the beginning. it's amazing you are getting back to feeling healthy and good. Keep the BMW, it's amazing. Cheers!
I really respect your honesty regarding your health. It helps so many others in the same situation. It’s always good to see another BvG video and thanks for the effort in making this. Anyway, congrats on your 50th 👍
Thank you mr baron for speaking about mental health issues. Im currently at my lowest point and trying to find a way out, hearing other people talk about coming through the other side does help, i have recently acquired a book called 'mildfulness' which helps focus the mind with the frantic pace of life.
Yeah, it helps so much hearing people who've come through the other side. I'm having a really hard time at the moment, and Baron's vids really are therapy to me lol. Stay strong Ryan, Baron and all who're struggling atm.
Really glad to hear that things are going well. Hope you will carry on making videos dear Baron, you're one of the few people I watch on RU-vid, love your down to earth and open attitude to things!
Good to hear you are doing well for yourself and are happier again Baron, you deserve it! Thanks for the many years of entertainment you have provided. I don't comment a lot but have enjoyed your rambles for years and years now and love the 44T content aswell!
Great message in this one about going back to the way RU-vid used to be. Those were the days. Loving 44 Teeth but man, the solo BVG rides are still the tits. Good to see one.
couldn't agree more. and as this video wore on, i'm very happy for you. i'm sure you met many a person who has a similar story as yours, in this day and age it seems to become a bit of an epidemic. just glad you got your shit sorted, or at least structured in a way you can deal with it and enjoy the day to day. got a ways to go there myself, but this gives me hope. thanks for all the wonderful videos
Good to hear you're doing better Baron, it's also so nice to still have someone on youtube who is just genuine in all they say and do. But please stop blue balling us with this talk of a new expensive bike! An HP4 Race will be mega though ;)
Thanks for telling it as it is. Much appreciated. Stay safe and I look forward to the next one. And spoil yourself for your birthday, as you say, YOLO! Can't wait to see what the new bike is going to be, Ducati, BMW? And to all the haters who are jealous, just tell them you like to work hard, play hard, and stay hard! (Even if does take you a bit longer to... 😉)
Been glued to the Budget Bike Battle on 44 Teeth and now hopped on to your channel... Your content is awesome and also makes me want to get back out on two wheels. Thanks
Hey Mr vG, enjoyed the vlog and love 44 teeth. Some of the comments on here draw parallels to Top Gear back in the day. No, I wouldn't be that 3rd person (Captain Slow) but I will say this - if you and your overweight balding friend are ever in the Ruhr Valley area of Germany (pretty close to the Nordschleife!) you are welcome to stay at my place. Good beer, good roads and motorways without speed limits! All the best for you and yours x
Good on you Baron, really appreciate you being so open about the mental health thing. Hav problems myself, got my bike license a year ago and love it!! Stay positive mate, you are not alone. We are all in it together, good luck, best wishes. Love the vids as well by the way, keep them coming if u can be bothered!!!
You and Al make the best stuff on bikes. There is literally no video I did not really enjoy watching, whereas anyother bike oriented channel on the YouPube is absolute shite.
Sounds like you could be on Cipramil Baron, try Metazapine instead, no side effects as far as cumming goes. Worked a treat for me and keeps the missus happy too.
I guess on the upside baron sertraline/citalopram helps you not be a 2 pump chump anymore ;) (I have that same side effect) Glad to see a new video from you, looking forward to seeing that expensive thing, is it to do with that post vlog scene?
So glad to see you back-and sounding so much like your old self! I am glad you are on the right path and feeling better in yourself, and it's so nice to hear you speak so openly about mental health. Hoping your good days always outnumber the bad.
Thanks for sharing chief. Quite a poignant video for me was this one. I’ve had my own struggles over the last few years and know exactly how you feel. It’s great to see your doing so well. Look forward to more content. All the best.
You definitely sound happier! I'm coming out of something similar myself after a massive lifestyle change and it's a lot easier to stay positive, found myself trying to seek out positive experiences rather hiding from negative ones. I'll always be subscribed so even if you put up a video every 6 months I'll still watch them all. Take care and happy birthday! Can't wait to see this new purchase
Happy birthday Baron, I love all your videos be they solo bvg or 44teeth keep up the brilliant and amazing work. My personal motto in tough times is "if you're riding through hell keep going and you'll emerge on the other side with more character and appreciation for the things in your life that make it worth living". Keep doing what makes you happy!
I remember watching your videos when I wasn't even 18 years old and couldn't ride a motorcycle. Your "Tour de Baron" videos were amazing and gave me the envy to travel around the world on a motorcycle and I thank you for that. Now it's been 4 years since I'm able to ride a motorcycle and it's been a blast so far, and honestly, I feel like I have to thank you for all the videos you uploaded and the entertainment you provided us during all those years. Thank you and I hope things will continue to work out for you!
Coming from someone who’s struggled a lot with mental health, I’m really glad for you that you’re happier in yourself and you should be proud for getting to this point! Looking forward to seeing what the new toys are and getting my fix on 44T!
Love hearing the positive vibe, keep working on you, brother. It's all we can do. Spot on with the whole RU-vid situation, and big up on keeping it real. The heads know what's up. Peace and love from Australia 🇦🇺
I just got back onto a bike this January after 13 years off. I just happened on one of your videos while researching the R1200GS, which I ultimately bought in part because of your opinion on it. I’ve been a fan ever since and have enjoyed watching your progression throughout all your catalog. And with 44 Teeth, you and Al are on to something special. Great chemistry, great content. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the help getting me back up to speed in the world of motorbikes.
I remember watching your videos years ago, for some reason i stopped coming to YT. And now i have finally stumbled across your channel again. Instantly subbed.
BvG you are such a boss. Great to see you back in the classic motovlog format, great to hear you're doing well. I appreciate your candidness too. (Candour, if we're being grammatically correct)
Mate, respect for talking about your mental health so openly. Always great to hear you can put a positive spin on things. 44 Teeth is brilliant too. I can tell that you and Al are having so much fun with that - me and the other half watch it on the TV. Keep up the good work bud!
Thanks for another video upload. Love 44T. BBB has been the best thing ever on RU-vid. But great to watch some good old BvG vloggage. Was a nice suprise when the BvG Wankathon notification popped up on my phone. Looking forward to the next one in 6 months or whenever you feel like doing one.
