Regardless of who died, the fact that anyone died from homicide in Japan is practically unheard, seeing as how more than 900-1k murders a year is unlikely. R.I.P. Shinzo Abe
Trust me, homicide in Japan happens a lot more often than you realize. The fact you don't know much of it at all speaks to the level of propaganda the Japanese Government engages to keep it off public knowledge. Do you know what is even worse than that? Homicide carries far less penalty than carrying illegal drugs over there...
@Vortex 88 This is not my native language and I don't respect it at all. As a said, go to school and stop touching yourself with anime and that japanese shit
@Syprix it is kinda true. There's always another horrible tragedy every week, it seems. At this point advertisements on news sources should just say "Now, back to your regularly scheduled international crisis."
He was the most significant Japanese politician of this century. To hear of his passing this morning, and the way it occurred was really a shock. May the Land of the Rising Sun continue to be a beacon in the East for all of Mankind.
Rest In Peace Shinzo Abe… you didn’t deserve to go like this… We send our prayers, all the people here of South America and the Caribbean The Latin American people praise respect to a incredible leader Greetings from Chile 🎌🇨🇱🤝🇯🇵🎌🗾
The UK's labor party has one, OP has it in his channel. The only extent the rest of the world has is cringy jingles, remixes, and original songs every election season.
@@hyperion3145 The first true National Anthems were God Save the King (which was widely copied by monarchies) and La Marsaillaise (first revolutionary anthem).
Shinzo Abe's death was a shock to me. He was a politician who really did care for his nation's well being and kept it running even during the troubling times of these two decades. May he rest in peace. Shinzo Abe Banzai!
In the West, "banzai" might be just translated to "hurray" but it's more than that. Literally, it means "ten thousand years" from the idea of wishing the emperor reigning for ten thousand years. In practice, when used alone it can be a cheer like hurray but when it's attached to a person, it's reserved to the emperor alone. "Shinzo Abe Banzai!" sound something like "long live Boris Johnson!" while we all know the monarchist undertone of proclaiming long live someone.
@@alanho6814 in the west "banzai" is commonly mistaken as "charge" tough I do know its means "10 thousand years/long live". I personally thought it fitted as Abe might have died but his struggle to make Japan's future brighter will be remembered thus making Shinzo Abe alive in our memory and hearts...
I'm from Korea. Even there was many incidents, Rest In Peace, Abe Shinzo. Such brutal violence in democratic country shouldn't happen. He was a good politician for Japanese people. Again, Rest In Peace. 🇰🇷 🙏 🇯🇵
Rest in peace Shinzo Abe, who gave your life to your country, until the very end! May you be an example to your people, and a golden memory to those whose lives you touched. Rest in peace, from the US 🇺🇸
My heart is sad for his family and his country. The world is less beautiful without such an honorable man in it. A friend to my nation and a patriot to his. ❤ to 🇯🇵 from 🇺🇸🙏🏻
@Vortex 88 dude was good for the economy but definitely not ethics, he had dealings with the yakuza and denies Japanese war crimes which is pretty shit of him to do
I am very happy to see so many people from abroad expressing their feelings toward Mr. Abe. He was truly a great politician. Sorry for my bad English. I am using a translator.
Sending love from Canada. Abe-san was a great leader who did good for Japan and the democratic world. He will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace 🇨🇦♥️🇯🇵
@@vbh_23 None but Japan committed alot they still have not apologized for such as: Genocide Mass Rape Inhumane and Unethical Experimentation on POWs Developing and using biological weapons Killing and Mistreating POWs Most of these happened in China specifically the R*pe Of Nanking. I could list more but there is too many to go over.
@@farizansyahrifkia5110 He was a notorious war crime denier. He called a group of old Korean Ladies that asked for an apology for Imperial Japan's mass enslavement of Korean Women liars and attention seekers. He was part of the Nippon Kaigi, an ultranationalist groups that also denies war crimes and wants the return of the Monarchy to recreate the Empire, Abe has also appointed many of them to his government. He in the past criticized Yukio Hatoyama for his apology to China about the Nanking Massacre. He is of the Opinion that Japan did never cause any unwaranted suffering on other nations. Abe's Grandfather; Nobusuke Kishi, has directly facilitated about 90% of the War Crimes in Manchuria when he served as the Economic Manager of the Region to oversee its industrial development. Abe has gone on record multiple times stating that his Grandfather did nothing wrong and that calling him a war criminal is audacious. Abe liked to visit the Yasukuni Shrine, a shrine that is heavily criticized for honoring Imperial Japanese War Criminals who were never tried for their crimes. He would often try to censor media outlets that reference or mention Japanese War Crimes or any news related to series of countries like China, South Korea or Vietnam. Overall Abe was not really a good guy and he is in every sense of the word an ultranationalist fascist.
You were known in the entire world for your devotion and hard work for your country. You led Japan trough the toughest times. Sending love, from France 🇨🇵❤🇯🇵 Oyasumi, Abe San
I haven't lived never in Japan, but to remain 8 years on the power in a country like that, I can sense that he was a great countryman, may his soul rest in peace. _Agur Abe jauna_
Dear Japanese people, today is a sad day for all of you. A great leader like this who loved his country, did everything he could to keep the people of his country safe and happy, should never die like this. I hope you, the people of Japan, will continue what your great leader Shinzo Abe has done, keep peace through strength of the nation and the people Great love and respect for your country, from Canada
Lol a war crimes denier who liked a regime arguably worse than (or at least as terrible as) Nazi Germany - regardless of the reason for the assassination, it's a net positive for Japan and the world that Shinzo Abe has died, and it would be the same for 90% of US presidents and a lot of political leaders we have here in the west as well...
His approval ratings were 30% one of the worst in Japanese history. Shinzo is corrupt and supported bombings in the middle east. Most Japanese people don't like him.
Couldn't believe it when I head the news. Shinzo Abe was a good man trying to bring his country into the 21st century and ensure its place among world powers for a century to come. So unfortunate that his life was cut short. Rest in Peace Shinzo Abé.
Rest in peace, Abe. Despite the current difficult relationship, I still imbued with respect for Shinzo, in which, at least slightly, but relations improved and who sought to improve relations between Russia and Japan. The world has lost another real politician
Oh man.. being a great enthusiast of foreign relations and things..he was the pillar of change in Japan's attitude for over two decades..hope his legacy continues..he wanted changes in his country big changes.. Om shanti..🇮🇳🇮🇳
May his family and Japan mourne him. He was that kind of man to lead a country with brilliance, like too few are able to. Long live Japan. May he and his family find peace. 🇨🇵❤🇯🇵
Rest in Peace Shinzo Abe You worked hard to develop japan and created strong Indo Japanese ties May your soul found peace and solace in afterlife🙏 🇯🇵🇮🇳
How ? He was corrupt , financed by sect , sexist , racist , xenophobic , etc , the list could go on He is better where he is right now that alive. Since his death , japan government acknowledged that corruption is a problem in japan , and change thing so he is not dead for nothing . (They mostly do that so other corrupt in his governement could escape justice , abe couldn't be the only corrupt in his own government )
While I disagreed with a lot of Shinzo Abe’s political ideals, it was a disgrace that he was murdered for it. My condolences to the people of Japan and his supporters.
From France. A great man who have in fact lead a policy for independance and stability for a broken country which was stuck in stagnation. 🦅🇨🇵🐝 🤝 ⛩️🇯🇵🔆
Although I am not sure that I should make a comment like this, but I would like to make it. Shinzo Abe was a really controversial politician. Some people love him so much , while others (like me) are not really favor of his hard line right-wing policies. However, no one wants him to die such a way. It was really shocking day for every Japanese people, and Japanese all are still on the way of recovery from that shocks. Japanese politics are now that facing the biggest challenge against Japanese Democracy, same as when Asanuma Ineniro, once a leader of Japanese socialist party had been killed. I, Japanese, will not allow any ideas of challenging against Democracy and people, and extremism, terrorism. Lastly, thank you all, from all over the world, for your kind comment. Let us pray for him. Greeting from Japan. P.S. If my English is not so good, I apologize for it.
A very unstable period indeed. Resigmemnts, assassinations, war, inflation, environment problems. In any case it was a very sad event. Greetings to Japan from 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🤝🇯🇵.
As a future resident in Japan, I can say that I'm greatly saddend by Shinzo Abe's untimely death, beachuse of an armed attack. Love from Romania to everybody affected by his death! お悔やみ申し上げます。🇷🇴♥️🇯🇵
I was genuinely shocked by this news. Assassinations seemed to me like something you read about in history books, not the news. (Of course we also saw the president of Haiti assassinated last year) which just goes to show how influential 2022 has been so far in terms of changes in the world. Rest In Peace Shinzo Abe
I am very happy that the great people we are proud of are recognized by foreigners. We Japanese inherit his feelings and will surely keep this peace. Yesterday, when I lost a person like the sun, is gone, and the sun is rising this morning. The dawn of Japan has already arrived
@@sethfrisbie3957 Denying the systematic rape and enslavement of thousands of women during WWII, practising historical revisionism and being a memeber of an ultranationalist, reactionary far-right organisation.
@@angela_merkeI I don't think that is true for the media has a thing with twisting the truth to fit its narrative. I don't see anything wrong with being a reactionary and loving your nation.
@@sethfrisbie3957 Shinzo Abe's achievements are not limited to those of the Prime Minister's era. He is one of the most diplomatic politicians in Japan. We Japanese people have a high reputation for his diplomacy against Russia, the United States, and China. There are a few more achievements during his time as prime minister, but what we Japanese people are paying attention to is that he was a buffer between the factions within the party. He kept between the far right and the mild factions, and in the largest faction contributed to the personnel and unity consciousness. At the end of his administration, the pursuit of the media was endless and full of scandals. However, when I opened the lid, there was no basis and only "suspicion" existed, and there was only unreasonable criticism. And many weren't Abe's own scandals. I knew his greatness for the first time since he retired from the prime minister.
@@user-jm9lw4gr9h that is actually quite impressive. I personally though actually want to see the Empire of Japan return though even though I am an American. I like your nation for its history and culture not what the average American like's it for. I also read Bushido the soul of Japan and found it to be a respectable code as it is similar to the Christian code besides the kill yourself part for failure.
Rest in peace Shinzo Abe. Legend and a great man, he didn't deserve that, but it's not the end, his contributions to Japan and the rest of the world will leave a legacy in history. Long live Japan, a nice friend of my country 🇳🇮🇯🇵🤍
Rest in peace, Shinzo Abe. I didn't knew much about you, but among the things I knew it was that you was a great prime minister. My condolences to his family and his nation, from Brazil 🇧🇷🇯🇵
Shinzo Abe, for all his failures, was once of the best PMs in LDP history. Japan is a defacto LDP-led uniparty state. With Abe at the helm, he unified the centrist, center-left, far-right, fascist, and corporate factions, and steered the nation out of the Lost Decades and back into the status of a global superpower it once was back in the '80s. But he wasn't able to complete that during his tenure as PM and instead tried to finish it behind the scenes. Instead, he got his neck blown out with a pipe shotgun mid-speech by a fucking rando. Rest in Peace, Abe, because without him, Japan is utterly fucked.
Japan arguably never got out of the Lost Decade. Arguably, his economic policies is what led to the current economic state of Japan: still rich enough to be a first world country but isn't going anywhere...
It's safe to say that, just like old Lincoln, Abe was killed because he was too grand of a person, and some people can't accept that. Cheers to Japan, from California. Long may we stay friends and never may we draw the sword again.
Rest In Peace Shinzo Abe, you have strengthen and countered against other enemies and have worked closely with us many times over. Best wishes from the USA
On behalf of the Republic of Latvia, we would like to pay respect to Mr. Abe. Shinzo Abe was a true friend of Latvia and a defender on the international stage. Let us mourn him with the deepest respect! Long live Japan!
