I agree,the "Fall of Cadia" regardless of how interesting and lore important has been played da fuk out. It's cool to see fresh (at least from my perspective) content about fringe elements of the lore,and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more.

Good video, I liked and subscribed. I think that the quality of your video is comparable to other more established channels. But, that is the problem; you are competing against all those other guys as well. I agree that perhaps focusing on the more obscure stories of 40k is a good way to stand out from the pack. I wish you luck and look forward to your future videos.

Thanks for subscribing! I agree, there is massive competition out there, but I have to look at it as I am just making these videos for the love of Warhammer. I may never be as big as the giants in the RU-vid space, but I’m at least getting to share some of the lore that I really enjoy. Again, thank you for the feedback and thank you for subscribing!

For all chaos is thought to be eldritch, chaos is merely the base and animal natures of mortal kind given agency and supernatural power. The Ghoul Stars and similar things are so much more eldritch, perhaps BECAUSE of their obscurity. I at once wish we saw more of these things, and yet dread that familiarity would demystify it's horrors.

There is just so much over looked, forgotten and absolutely frightening lore in the Warhammer universe. The Halo stars, the Ghoul Stars, strange xenos races of unknown origin. I just find this type of lore so much more interesting as it opens up new modalities of thought. I mean, the Tyranids just passing through the Ghoul Stars absolutely wrecked the Hive Fleet.

Al Ghoul... Rais Alghoul, as in the DC comics character that is immortal, eldrich, etc... OR, there are some Lovecraft mythos refrences to a character with a simaler name- am avatar of Nayrathotep? (And, if course, 'ghouls', which any number of 40k factions/demons/grimdark flesh eaters would qualify as...) Is there a connection/reference/homage vis. Ghouls? Im an amateur of 40k, but i would assume that there are all kind of corpse eating degenerate humans/xenos that would qualify as furure versions of the classic arabic mythological ghouls... Dang im really starting to dig the depth of 40k...

Welcome to the Warhammer 40k universe! There are all types of crazy xenos and humans in the 40k world. So much to choose from like Nurgle Plaguebearers, Necron Flayed Ones, Tyranid Genestealers, pretty much anything chaos. I mean there is just so much scary and dark stuff in the 40k universe. Halo Devices, tainted warp tools, the entire 40k universe is made for a grime dark outlook. That is just a small list and I am going to try and cover more of it in this channel.

@@yoonoartstudio Yeah, i dig it, especially since I'm an old DnD gamer and I dig the tabletop strategy games (especially with the grimdark!). Cheers! (What novel/series is a good starting place?)

It really depends on what direction do you want to go? Space marine, xenos, Ork, imperial guard? I personally love the Inquisition books of Ravenor and Eisenhorn, but the Gaunts Ghost series is pretty good looking into imperial guard and the Imperium of Man. If you are an old D&D fan, check out Rogue Trader RPG. Same style with dice rolling, sheets, expansions etc. not the video game though that is good as well. There are like 20 books on the rpg
