Warhammer Old World Alternative: One Pages Rules Regiments 

I recently started getting into fantasy as well due to old world so i feel the same way about trying out regiments and i have been doing that as well. However note to anyone who wants to run OPR models for regiments, the sculpts are very dynamic so it is hard to have the rank up properly in lines so if that is a problem for you or anyone else i recommend looking elsewhere for 3d printed models. However i enjoy OPR models so i run them anyways

Regiments is seriously a good game, especially when played at higher point levels. So much more tactical without getting too bogged down by the intricacies like wheeling units but still retain limitations like having to move through terrain or blocking units to keep it very interesting. Don't forget to include the Ranks when calculating Combat Resolution, ya... Hoping to see more Regiments reports soon. 😊

They don’t need Regen - thematically “Undead “ rule does the trick since it makes us not flee. And now it’s even more powerful because we get to take a Morale test first - before taking wounds

On the subject of Regeneration in Vampiric Undead, I know Ghoul type units have Regeneration natively. So if you wanted to run a "Flesheater Courts" style army, that would be a sturdy army. Don't ask me why Ghouls are so resilient, I don't know. As for why most of the army doesn't have Regen, it's intended to function as a sort of generic undead force. And not every undead in fiction keeps getting back up. This in contrast to Robot Legions, who are based on Necrons in 40K, an army where canonically everyone is a constantly repairing construct. Vampire Counts never had that kind of theme. Instead, the idea of Vampiric Undead is one of an army propelled by powerful necromancers and magical vampires. They're animated - and reanimated - by the will and art of their masters. It's not unusual, then, that their ability to shrug off harm and keep fighting is contingent on those same masters. They're taking battlefield corpses and manually adding them to the undead horde. If you want your undead to stick around, they need heroes to do it. (It's better than Vampire Counts classically were, where the _absence_ of wizards due to being killed caused the whole army to start to disintegrate.) In light of this necromancy-dependent regeneration, it makes armies that DON'T have them cover a different niche. Ones lead by wight kings, risen from their barrows on skeletal steeds, aren't magical threats. They're old warriors leading their armies of old once again. They may not get regeneration, and that's fine. In general, the army is built around being a horde army first. Where you're throwing wave after wave of disposable undead minions at a problem until it gets overwhelmed. It's much like goblins or ratmen in that way. (By contrast, aside from some "silver tide" strategies, Necrons/Robot Legions are more on the elite end of the horde-elite spectrum).

I've been trying to figure out that artillerist rule as well. They way I take it is that you can fire again, but you would have a fatigue token and would be hitting on 6's. Would love some more official clarification though!

Artillerist definitely allow you to fire a war machine twice

Not complaining, but you could let him play one of your other armies. Also, Corpse Wagon does not have Impact, rather it has 8 Crew Attacks, so not much of a vehicle despite being classified as one.

Beautiful board! Is that fow terrain? You should absolutely have regen. Blood chalice should increase the regen by one.
