That's exactly it! When warping for short projects on my rigid heddle loom, I find it goes way faster when I do the direct warping method. There are many advantages to rigid heddle looms. In that case, my loom came with a 7.5 heddle which is what I needed for this yarn. I don't have such reed with my floor looms. Also, the rigid heddle is very easy and fast to warp.
That's a really good question! When I film myself while weaving, it always takes much more time than it normally should. My guess would be that if I wasn't filming, I could have easily woven it all over the course of one weekend. I hope this helps 😊
