If Warren Haynes isn't inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame they ought to tear it down. He has contributed more good music than any musician in years. Give Warren his due.
This man deserves to be in the hall of fame easily one of the best musician to ever play and he is so humble not many guitar players are like that they have there nose stuck up and think there better than you but not Waren he is cool as a cucumber I met him in florida many years ago he is just awesome
His voice rings in my head like no one else’s. Warren has been moving me to tears with his words for over 20 years. The man is a superhuman. An unsung hero of America.
Warren has the goods, he can sing and play anybody's song and bring it up a notch. He's got the voice, killer on rhythm, lead, slide. Let's be real this man single handily brought the Allman Brothers Band back to life. And he does all this with the modest attitude he's just doing his job which shows he's also a decent person.
10:25 pm- 8-24-23....Scott R.M clain. I think Warren Haynes is an unreal blues musician. I absolutely love his cover of One. He has that raspy but smooth perfect blues voice! Absolutely he's my favorite blues man!! ❤️ him and his music!!
Nyrckr, a comment such as this is derogatory and carries zero weight. He happens to have written a lot of great songs so I would have to strongly disagree with you as well as being one of the best and most respected hard working guitarists in the world.
@@joetompkins8634 Joe, if I believe what I read, the writers on 'One' were Larry Mullen, Bono, David Howell Evans, Adam Clayton. None of them are named Warren. Stop making shit up.
I was there in a desolate field in the middle of Tennessee and I heard a song that changed my life. It was damn hot and I was dehydratedp. I've been to w many shows but this is the anthem of my life because of Warren in his haunting beautification of lyrics his is simple passion of a guy on a stage singing his heart out for all 250 of us was a beautiful day. The greatest magic happens when you least expect it. P always... You're tripping mule
Its too late, tonight, to drag the past out...this song his guitar, his voice! Pure rock n roll bliss. For me Warren and Chris Cornell are the best rock singers.
This one really grabs the heart and hits home. Warren completely nails this...right up there with Johnny's "Hurt" or Jimi's "all along the watch tower". The artist cover and improv simply over powers the original. Hats off to you Warren. This song floors me.
Splendid lyrics, love the original...Warren plays this as a cover with his own uniqueness! Both are great. Fascinated with this as I love the song, and am a fan of Warren....great combination!
I love this version of "One"!!! Warren brings a quality to any song that he covers that is better than the original version!!! Keep 'em coming brother.
Warren Haynes is the Heart and Soul of Asheville, NC. Christmas Jam is a kind and loving contribution to the City’s Habitat For Humanity housing program. Dreams and Songs : March 16 and 17, 2019 in our beloved Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, Downtown AsheVegas, NC was for The Family. Remember Be Here Now? Or that one time, at Red Rocks, jammin’ with Dave on The Lot? All were in attendance that magical weekend. We laughed, we cried, we remembered. We Love You. Keep on Shining…
The way he sings this you just can't listen to the U2 version without thinking this is just way to fast and you need to slow it down to feel the emotion that Warren put into this song. First time i heard this version i was listening to it on head phones in the dark and it gave me gooooooooses lol
love Warren!once he covers a song,it seems like it becomes his!a new age Jerry Garcia & i can picture them rockin out, chillin,& jammin with each other.JG did it all & Warren is picking up whre he left off..GREAT PERFORMANCE!!
Warren has it all going for him. Love his voice. Would like to get him to come play in the Redwoods near Santa Cruz. Boulder Creek to be precise. I'll bet all 3000 of us would come out to see him play. I'll build the stage right now!
Because some of the best versions of some songs are covers. Just look at All Along The Watchtower, Me and Bobby McGee, Hallelujah, Twist and Shout, etc., etc., etc. Some songs you probably don't even know are covers because the original was so old or obscure. That's why you cover it.
