Mario Party is one of the most beloved multiplayer game series ever to come out from Nintendo. However Nintendo had decided to shake things up a bit when the ninth mainline entry came out, completely changing up the gameplay that most fans had come to love from the series. Nowadays Mario Party 9 is seen in a negative light, with many pointing it out as the beginning of the downfall for the series as well as one of the worst Mario Party games ever made.
