I'm not convinced that Zuckerberg isn't an AI using an avatar looking at this video, he looks like CGI here and hes showing off photo scanned avatars that look more real than he does. Meta don't just want our data for profit they use it to feed the Zuckerberg AI!
obviously not, they’re creating a new world, they’re trying to basically bring to life “ready player 1” world, so it’s gonna take a lot of time, they might not even be the ones who actually end up achieving it.
a while back they showed a headset for research that has the soc and battery for 6dof tracking in a good enough small form factor ....they need to figure out what display/optics they can use with it
1:43 this could look much smoother and immersive if the program simulated an attractive field around the virtual hand and make the object attract/rotate towards the fingers and scale as the fingers get closer. It also seems very easy to do if they have hand tracking working accurately which I think they do.

this is true, thats why people are gonna jump in on decentralized glasses and a decentralized metaverse. i think people will eventually reject facebook's metaverse
About the interest and data that Meta will sell. Personally, I don’t care that all my data, such as location and full scan of my place of residence, etc. Will be sold to unknown amount of companies. Because that amount of dopamine that this social network brings to me. The same goes for Google, the fact that it picks up for me a roundup of news, weather .. is well worth it Even if one these company's somehow manages to get my passport, credit card details.
if people stop inventing because they fear of legal trouble, we won't have a car, airplane, internet or computer today. you might as well living in a cave to avoid any persecution at all
@@discordok7613 not really. The rumored Apple glasses will likely have lidar sensors to map your surroundings, which works in light and dark environments and are way better for privacy
Is it just me or does Mark Zuckerberg in this video look less real than the photo scanned avatars he's showing off? It's probably just bad lighting but maybe he's using an avatar in this video to test the effectiveness of the technology? I might have my issues with Meta as a company but their ideas for AR and VR are very intriguing.
Not everyone is going to want a chip. Glasses would be much less intrusive. Plus neuralink will mainly be for medical purposes at first, it will probably take a while before it can be used the same way ar glasses will be
sensor for temperature will turn them off ......I think there were some news about some of their raybans were over heating and shutting down from heavy use and high ambient temperature
Too suggestive!...This tech continully bombards you with suggestions...and as humans we're easlily convinced. We could see those suggestions as messages from "the universe" which may influnce our true intention. I want to see the full range of possabilites at all times. I can see those "suggestions" being used as manipulation tools. I just have a problem with "suggestions" as they could interfere with originality.
I think having some kind of radio communicating wirelessly would be the only way to use a separate processing unit (at that point, just make it connect to a phone). There is NO way the average person would wear smart glasses if they had to have a wire danging down their body
MR is the future. Being able to have a hybrid ar + vr, and full vr will be the future because you will have more data at your hands... and still be able to fully imerse so I think the future is about to be awesome.

A next step forward to metaverse wil be something more intresting and that is a person who will train his/her ai robot avatars will depict same bofy posture movements and expression will remain alive even after his/her death that will create a new world where our ancestors will remain alive for ever and we will be able to meet them and talk to them in virtual reality ha ha i know that will take almost 30-50 years to develop but i think i will be present in that virtual reality for my upcoming generation what do you think?

hmmm very risky for privacy as a user . that means now fackbook can look at there user and what they are doing at there home 24-7 by the cameras even switvhing off mobile or deleting an app will not help
