I have noticed a trend lately with WG in that they are shipping out a lot of quite large watches. After years of ever bigger watches, I think that the trend has switched lately towards smaller and more reasonable sizes. This I believe has left watch makers with lots of overstock in large watches, which they can conveniently off load on to WG, who in turn can off load them onto their customers.
The fact that they send you stuff up to 1500 that you can’t get atleast half of the retail price for means it’s basically a scam even tho it’s worth more then your subscription
Why do I have the feeling, that there is 2-3 Watch Factories in China , pumping these Watches out at the Rate of One Per Minute, with very little cost involved !!
Here's my problem with watch scam, I mean money thief, I mean idiot box, sorry watch gang. If you are getting platinum you would only need to not buy it for 18 months and instead of having 18 worthless pieces of crap you could just go out and by a real Rolex from a reputable retailer, that will only increase in value.
I just buy the premium watch’s on eBay for 50% off and i’m also able to pick the watch I want. Why spend 50% more on a watch just for the anticipation of not knowing what you will get?
@@JonathanHorlockThat's not what he's saying, why would you go to the trouble of faking what is already a crap watch gang watch?? He'll just wait until daft watch gang members off load their watches at less than 50% of what they paid
@@davejarvis5279I think you've misunderstood his comment. He said 'premium watches' not the watches from watch gang, that was his point. Mine was that there are a large number of fake premium watches on ebay.
@@JonathanHorlock hi no you'll find that he was referring to the premium tier watches from watch gang which members seem to offload very quickly ebay is full of them
@@davejarvis5279 oh OK, I didn't think watch gang had any premium watches, I certainly haven't seen any. That's why I assumed he meant actual premium watches. I which case you're right, nobody would go to the trouble of faking the rubbish watch gang deliver.
Thanks for the review. The watch is fine...but it is absurdly big. Some folks may prefer such a huge one, but most won't, which means that WG is providing a surprise watch that only a minority of men would actually want.
Be aware, the “raffle” rolexs are usually datejusts- used, refurbs, etc. It’s still a free rolex... but don’t expect a new submariner if you do win. Oh, and you’ll get a W9 form for the tax. 🙄
I am not trying to talk down to anyone who is reading this comment but the fact that you tried to sell it on EBay is why you would not be able to get anywhere close to a thousand dollars for said watch in the video. In my honest opinion the smartest and wisest decision for getting back top dollar when and if you sell the watch would probably be to sell it to a jewelry or a jewler. EBay is where you are trying to save money hypothetically speaking.
