Very informative video I wish I did this wean I bought my bmw f30 with 53k miles didn’t know about big issues like timing chain issue but it has 73k now I had got a new valve cover gasket transition fluid change new oil filler it’s been a great car “knock on wood”👍🏼
Hope it's the last of repairs you have to do on your car! Hopefully this video will help some people not overpay for a BMW as I've see my friend do recently when they didn't ask for anything and just bought it.
Thank you so much for this very informative and insightful video. I'm getting my license soon and I'm bout to cop me self😈😈a beemer prob a 2006 or a 2007 3 or 5 series (my first car) and Ill keep in mind to check everything that u mentioned in the video and I'll keep yall posted. Thank U again
I love your videos, but this one left me a bit disturbed! I recently bought a 2009 E89 35i with auto gearbox, with 45,500 kms on the clock. The car is in superb condition, there is not one mark on it and the engine and gearbox sound really sweet. I don't think the car was ever kept outdoors. The one job that was done a year ago was the replacement of the injectors, plugs etc, at a cost of about 3,500 USD. But now I am wondering how long it will be, based on your advice, before something goes wrong in the engine and costs me a lot of money ! Having said that, it's the nicest car I've ever owned... Louis in France
If your car is in great condition and everything is sound, you don't have much to worry about. Sounds like you got a gem of a car, done some good maintenance and I'm sure it will last a long time. BMWs are actually fairly reliable compared to many other luxury brands, so the items I mentioned are just meant to prevent people form buying beat up or abused cars. Thanks for watching and enjoy your sweet z4 35i!
Please just please remove the M stripes from the grill. It looks rice and I assure you everyone who knows anything about bimmers laughs at you. That’s like having an Z4M badge at the rear of your vehicle. I love your content but please help yourself man
I put those on before I knew people were so against them. I never looked at it as fake-badging, more like adding color to the car. I'd love to put blank black ones if someone wants to donate those to me!
@@SimpleCarGuy Where are you from? Maybe you could put ones with the colors of your national flag? That looks awesome! I’ve seen many german bimmers with black red and yellow stripe on the grill.
I like the m stripe I don’t think it really matters what anyone else thinks but the owner, I got a M340i and leave all the Msport badges averywhere because that’s what I like it’s not fake it came from factory like that.
