*watches because I love looking at adorbz Cresties 😍. I think we choose our pets’ names on gut instinct and that’s fine. I always have a system (based off some weird Native American stuff my Great Grandma taught me) you have to be with your animal for 3 days before choosing a name because they will let you know through their personality. They are never your ‘pet’. Each animal goes through life *with* you and you have to respect WHY it entered your life - even if it was ‘an impulse buy at a pet shop’...sort of like everything has a deep meaning.

I’m surprised Doritos tail hasn’t fallen off yet. My crested gecko (Pumpkin) dropped her tail 3 months after getting her... the thing is... she dropped her tail while climbing up my desk 😂

I have a crested named Treecko and he wants NOTHING to do with me. He lunges at me every time I try to do things like mist down the enclosure or just tries to bite. It’s to the point that I can’t handle him at all for fear of stressing him out. I still love him though even if he is rude.

Anyone who lives in a dry climate if you worry about humidity i would suggest getting a humidifier or air humidifier! That way it's both automatic and humid enough for your crestie! :D

I was about to get a leopard gecko, but kinda wanted to research crested geckos too before I did, to make sure I knew my options properly. I definitely want a crested gecko, I think I they are soo cute! Your videos have helped me a lot tysm :) I live in England, so the temperatures are lower here, but I’ve read heat mats are okay to use with crested geckos? I’ve heard it in other videos but just wanted to check :)

I was thinking about getting one for my 13th birthday (which is in less than a month) so this was quite helpful. I've always loved reptiles but only have had bearded dragons. The one I've had most of my life recently passed from old age and I really want another reptile.

both my adult males still have their tales im shocked really but i do mess with them a lot , i did buy a couple of babies a few months back but they had already lost their's but i think because it was a pet shop maybe not sure but 4 all together 3 boys and 1 girl , love them so much , fletcher, dash, dexter and rue

I have been watching these type of videos for hours because I got one a few days ago but he's a few months.. I think it's fine to watch these videos at his/her age.. right? he/she's too young to tell the gender soo... this is my first reptile pet and I love him/her, it's so easy to take care of!

Since I live in Florida it’s always really hot and my air conditioning isn’t the best so what I do is I mist down my crested geckos tank with cooler water (but not to cold) and he does just fine

I bought a crested gecko as my very first reptile n he is a baby that is tailless. I bought him from PetSmart n he was already a frog butt wen I bought him didn't change my perspective on the guy just made me more confident to handle it bc I'm not worried about being the reason it drops it's tail I think my frog butt guys adorable

I got a new female gecko and I already have 3 others and they are super calm I was definitely not prepared with the tornado of a gecko she is. She always runs from me and jumps around and has bitten me.... I dont know if shes frightened or the previous owner never socialize her.. shes 5 yrs old. That's alright if I can get a weight every few months she can live peacefully without me picking on her. Sucks though cause she is super nice looking

My male crestie, Widget, had already dropped his tail before I got him. The pet store gave me 50% his price because he was "defective" 😤 I didn'tmind paying less, but he has more personality than a lot of people, he's so sweet and social, and he eats like a horse, so I can't view him as "defective." He's also a beautiful red/orange with some dalmatian spots. Defective indeed.
