Pro tip if you want the $500 battery to last. Never drop the charge below 20%, store it right at 50% and try to charge it right before use. If you follow those guidelines the battery will last at least 3 times longer before you need to replace it. Love my onewheel, just about to hit 1000 miles on it and I got it last summer. Don't push through pushback ever! Nosedives are no joke you will mess yourself up almost guaranteed.
Wish I saw your comment when i first got mines. I used to ride my onwheel till by battery would literally die on me ( happened 20 times already) i have 700 miles on my board and only get about 10 miles now at 100%.
You missed the most important thing. Cell balancing. At least once a month you should fully charge because the final 1% is the cell balancing. If you never do this you risk ruining your whole battery pack.
Got this guy for filmmaking but also for fun and it’s killer for both. Man I love this thing. The range is really impressive, I’m a bigger dude and I average 16-20 miles even!. For hills man I recommend you check out fangs for your board, they are awesome for the times the front of your board touches the ground. It allows you keep rolling and pick it back up. Great vid🤙🏽
The board is still sold 2000€ in Europe after more than 2 years on the market, yet still not including a waterproof cork over charging socket... I'm just waiting for the Chinese version
Yes omg please we need more reviews of electric skateboards and electric personal transport machines please. Also we'd like for you guys to create a list and give an ideal media score of which of these electric scooters, or electric skateboards rank high in speed, durability, portability and usability and are worthy of purchase.
This was yet another brilliant idea! Your review was perfect. You managed to address any questions, whilst demonstrating how easy this the witchcraft inside this one-wheel device works. Brilliant! Thanks for another entertaining and insightful video. Cheers!
Well... you made me want one. And at, more than, $2,500 cheaper than the Segways that I’ve rented. The downside to your video... you made it look far too easy! I struggled with a standup paddle board this week - with only moderate waves. I certainly don’t have your experience and skill. Thanks again, it was a really great video. You deserve a kickback from that company.
Yes I was wondering what would happen on a real steep hill because leaning forward would put the nose on the ground and create a problem. An Eskateboard would have no problem as you never have to worry about nosediving. This is a flaw I can't accept and I live in Florida- sorry One Wheel.
I hear you man but i dont think they will, the alternatives are not good. I think if anything they will go up. I havent bought one either, seriously thinking about it though. I was saving up for another motorcycle now considering an ev no insurance and you can them anywhere without cops and pissed off people. But 2k is a lot of money for what it is
I bought for summer snowboarding/ which it does awesome/ but now I even use it to commute to work with. Worth every penny. I waited 2 years to buy it, and bought a second one 3mo later for the fam.
Bro, phones cost a grand and we toss them after a year or two. This thing is a serious piece of hardware that holds value well. Look at the cost of a stupid bicycle these days.... it’s priced well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the review, but unfortunately your Bond-esque racing gloves make me hate you. Still upvoted though! Again, loved the review, but those gloves make me want to vomit blood.
Love my bike. It's fast, it's fun, it can traverse almost any terrain, it has almost unlimited range, operates completely on renewable energy, and gives me exercise. I don't see how this product improves anything, especially to justify the price of $1,800.
Make a video on 5 cheap cars to start a track build on. I have a Honda Civic em2 made for the track and upmost it cost me $2000 to get a full complete track set up without force induction and improvement
People please don't do what this guy did. Do not ride this without knee pads and elbow pads. For extra safety I would also wear hand and wrist pads because you may be a pro riding electric rides. But, you cannot control what a car or pedestrian will do around you that will cause you to fall over at any instant.
You can not compare onewheel and electric unicycle, but I'll take euc because of price, bigger battery, thus more distance, and a bit faster... Any rate always where a helmet, a hockey player in my town died on an onewheel, because it nose dived and he was not wearing a helmet!!!
As an owner with the cuts and bruises that come with 10 miles per day, often trail riding, yes... this will likely climb the hills in your backyard. Technique for anything steeper than the angle on the board is to go side to side up the hill
Dude goes flying by me when I’m walking/biking occasionally. Had to look these up to see what the hell I was looking at. Not my thing personally but pretty amazing technology. He doesn’t wear a helmet or gloves. Just can’t imagine derfing it at that speed.
The trotter board is just a off brand of a onewheel don’t buy it I got one and it was not good to me but this is also my opinion about it I have a onewheel pint and they are awesome Andy onewheels are I highly recommend them if you want to have fun for hours
These things are awesome I the the XR its super cool always keep it in my car cause one time I ran out of gas an the bored came threw for me its awesome!
I've been wondering if you can custom it to go faster, I'm not one to try and top speed it but being a heavier guy I just want that maybe 5 or so extra miles to compensate for the weight
I can ice skate I can ski can I do this easy I’m 41 fit and a proper rough neck. I have fear not for the pain of broken parts, rather of needing to straighten a coat hanger to scratch an itch.
