Thankful for justice for Dr. Hoover and his family. The search for justice was far and long! Many thanks to all involved in presenting a case that will stand up in court!
I do think it was after, yes. It's confusing because around the 11:30 mark she mentions the date of the other crime as Oct 17, 2024- which obviously has not occured yet. I am assuming she meant 2023, but I don't know that for sure.
Mixed feelings. Glad the killer is potentially found, not so happy about the fact that this was a high profile case about a prominent surgeon who was heavily involved in his community. Had it been you or I, I have a feeling this probably would have gone unsolved.
I am not sure if you listened to the whole entire video,but at one point Kym Worthy said that this man was paying this man for sex or sexual favors So from what it is possible that he could have been a male prostitute.
It was said the doctor was seen at Menjos the Friday before his death. I can't fathom a gay male, especially of his status, still going to bars like that....in his 50s.
I am so glad that someone has been arrested. And will be held accountable for this horrific crime. I pray that his family will be able to get some kind of peace. In knowing that this is happening. And I pray for them during the entire process now. The entire team of law enforcement officers deserve a big congratulations!! I was beginning to think that the murder had gone cold.
Good for Dr. Hoover’s family for the Justice that was served. Desmond Burks is going back where he belongs locked up and soap dropped as he likes it. Throw away the key!! County Prosecutor Worthy, Detroit Police and the team did a splendid job shoutout to them indeed.
He's already in jail for another murder he was charged with in May 2024. At least now he can't harm anymore innocent people who didn't deserve to die by the hands of this sociopath.

Kim worthy only cares about high profile cases , and to keep the prosecutors office with a high conviction rate she only prosecutes cases she knows she can win. Also, if it cost too much to for a case she might lose , she won’t take it. My brother’s murderer is still on the streets. My brother was just a lowly electrician.🤬

Not in a relationship. They had a sexual relationship and the Dr was paying him for sex. How much do you want to bet Desmond was one of his patients, and that’s how they met?! Just because he held the title of Dr, doesn’t mean he wasn’t evil himself.
@@inesplain8870 oh yeah, I wouldn’t think that they were in a relationship. The doctor was a neurosurgeon. I doubt very much that this evil killer was a patient. As someone with skeletal/bulging and herniated disc in my neck and back. I can’t see this guy being able to pull off this gruesome murder and take a carpet with a deadweight body and carry it up into an attic. My guess would be he did some work around his house or they met at the store, or could be a number of ways. There’s nothing at all to suggest that the victim was anything more than that, victim of opportunity and circumstance. This killer was just pure evil, and his motive was money, I’m sure jewelry, I know there were very expensive statues taken, possibly car to joy ride. Who knows. Paying lovers for sex is absurd unless he was a prostitute and lastly he wouldn’t live in the hood if they were lovers the gays in Detroit would’ve known all about it whether it’s a secret or not (it’s a small village trust me) and secondly he would’ve been enjoying the nice lavish life living in Dr. Hoover’s house enjoying it all from his expense.
I pray that he get a fair trial we know how you do it when it comes to a black person no evidence no DNA the judge bais etc there has been worse cases that have happened to Black people and nobody go to prison we don't trust you
