@@_serenity3298 I was surprised that Billy missed her hiding behind the other bridesmaids & the bride for the pictures at the LA wedding @17:47 where she wore the small red dress... she was trying to not fall out of the top lol. And the reality is... her friends whose weddings she was in their wedding... they wouldn't fit into her dresses at her wedding at the end... unless they were much smaller than her & the dress was the type that could be cut down correctly. But at least a couple of them, the brides were way shorter than her or bigger. But it's a movie ;) I actually have always liked it and quite a few of her other movies... and Katherine Heigl herself (I know there has been a lot said about her being a troublesome actress).
@@msfeistybabefacts that always got me in he movie I was like there ain’t no way they are fitting into her dresses not everyone has Katherine Heigls body
I assume James Marsden has a fantastic sense of humor because he chooses roles that either make a mockery of the Handsome Man role or completely play against type. His comedic timing is awesome and I hope he has an incredibly long and prolific career.
@@jessicamorgan2438 Girl, yes. That's why I bought a separate dress for the reception. After a few accompanied trips to the bathroom, I had to change. It was not working for me.
So one thing I didn't notice until this video, is that the bride on the boat is like the anti-bridezilla. She doesn't care that it's "HER DAY" she stops everything to get involved in another couple's story, and is thrilled to bits.
The whole "you can shorten it and wear it again" is a classic wedding trope, a lie every bride tells her bridesmaids about the dresses they have to buy to be in the wedding. Even though most of them would NEVER work as a more casual dress, even if you shortened them, lol!
@@kleiohra6843 It’s honestly different per bride! Some brides will choose and pay for the dress (honestly the right thing to do), some will choose and make the bridesmaids pay and some will let the bridesmaids choose and pay for their own dress.
Tess really reached peak selfishness when she made the entire article fiasco all about herself, this despite only getting a one sentence mention, whereas Jane got intimate details from her personal life spread all over the front page of the New York Journal.
“You can always say no,” … In this case I totally get how that is not an option. I have a little sister who is a lot like Kate and the family will always make excuses for people like that. But if you say no as the older more responsible reasonable person… your family will blame and hate you for not supporting the little shit
@@kevinwright4837 fr tho, they immediately label you as that sibling who's ungrateful and is trying to be a bad example for those "sweet amazing angels". Like I was 12 at the time so hell no was I gonna be acting like a 25 yr old responsible woman (though I did but that's not the point)
This is one of those movies I don't think is a masterpiece, but I'll watch it over and over again anyway. #bingers Ever After, Stardust, and Beauty and the Beast
I swear Billy sits in his house writing down insults for the way people kiss😂. One of these days we are going to need a tutorial on how to do it right.
I have always really liked this movie, I just thought it was a cute movie and I've always liked Catherine Heigl, but For some reason she has gotten a bad rap over the last few years. I'm not sure why but I'm glad people are still enjoying movies, and yet again you never fail to disappoint Billy! If you haven't Already done so I'd love you to react to #bingers 13 Going on 30. Super cute with Jennifer Garner and the girl that plays the crazy bff wedding plus one in this movie! 🍿🎥
@@julier4140 The actress that is Jane's friend here & Jenna's frenemy in 13 Going on 30 is also the psycho frenemy in the werewolf movie with Christina Ricci called Cursed. She definitely has a thing for being a bit crazy in her roles lol.
The is the ideal chick-flick comfort movie lmao. Every movie like this needs a good gimmick/theme and they nailed it with this one. I get so nostalgic for this one all the time. 😭✨
Their favorite moment is actually true. I went to a wedding a few years ago, and I did the same thing. The groom looked like he was about to burst into tears. That's how I knew they were gonna make it. As far as I know, they're still together today, happily married with kids.
Judy Greer is one of my favorite actresses! She is never the lead but she's still amazing in EVERYTHING she's in no matter how small the part. Can't wait to see her kick some ass in Halloween Kills And oh my God the fact that you used the ATeens music video for Dancing Queen instead of ABBA was amazing
Im gonna assume a good deal hated it either cause they didnt like the dress or cause its tainting memories of thier own weddings with her, and a good deal loved them cause it was there thing whichnis why they picked it in the first place. The rest were just good sports and dudnt feel strongly any particular way.
I noticed with many katherine Higel movies, they are marketed as romantic comedies, but are pretty depressing, but that is what makes them great. They allow every emotion to come through. Hope, love, and humor comes out through the tragic times.
I’m not religious but that is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. One of the most amazing scores and soundtracks of any movie I can think of. Breathtakingly powerful.
i always thought the sister's relationship was soooo toxic I'm a younger sister and I would never treat my big sister like that also the way they made up didn't feel right to me it feels like they skipped over a lot they should have talked about.
@@BillyBinges Not while vacuuming that rug in the recording area. Gotta be calm and careful, no tomfoolery.... it has to be perfect for the OCD viewers ;) lol
Her sister is played by malin åkerman, she played ryan reynold’s old flame in the proposal and silk spectre in watchmen. #Bingers Everafter or Stardust for fairytale/fantasy #Bingers Whip It or A League of Their Own for sports
For a movie with multiple characters I can't stand (Tess, George, the dad and the boss), there's just something about this movie that gets me to watch it over and over again. Judy Greer (who played the best friend) was hilarious. She was also in The Village in a bit more of a dramatic role, which you should absolutely react to. #Bingers
I remembered this movie when I was 16 or 17. The one thing you never expected from a bridesmaid to keep that many dresses. The bar scene where they get drunk & karaoke to Elton John "Benny & the Jets" still made me laugh.
I worked at a place that Katherine would come with her family. Beautiful kids, sweet husband, and she is definitely beautiful in person if a bit walled off, but that seems reasonable for someone who got so much hate for leaving Grey's
This made me laugh. I really need a sticker or shirt that says "so disrespectful " or mad disrespect" LOL I've been in 5 weddings and the "you can shorten and wear again" bit makes me snort. You basically never wear it again. when I was a teen they ended up being my winter formal dresses but other than that nah lol So glad I had 2 friends who had normal summer dress or summer skirts I had good use of before I donated them.
One trend I like (among friends who sew) is for the bride to give them a basic pattern and color and let them run up their own variations. In other words, my friend with a tracheotomy scar could wear a high necked one, and the girl who hated her arms added the sleeves, etc. It may even be a dress you could ACTUALLY wear again.
@@fabrisseterbrugghe8567 what I liked with my friend is a nice skirt and we choose our tops. So like you said someone can have high neck or off the shoulder as long as it was white/cream. I actually could wear the skirt again. My wedding I did the same But they could wear white top or black (All chose black which I loved more).
The main thing I remember about this movie is the car crash, because I was in driver's ed when I saw it in theaters and before they even mentioned it I was like "THEY'RE GONNA HYDROPLANE." And then they actually did.
Idc what anyone says this movie is so nice to watch on a rainy day when you realize you’re probably gonna be alone for the rest of your life and you want to see someone else find love and I love it!!! Such a good comfort movie for my lonely self😭
#bingers I'm adding my voice to the Ever After chorus. It's terrific. I'd also like to suggest Superman Returns. You'll understand why when you see it.
I like this movie but I definitely almost cry for her a lot during it toooo. I see the depression 🕵🏾♀️. Movie like this I have to watch a "happy" show after, ya just GOTTA!
#bingers My Favorite Katherine Heigl movies are “Life As We Know It” and “The Killers”. Also the “Wedding Date” with Debra Messing. Oh one more “The Other Woman” with Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann. Chefs Kiss 😘
This is the best reaction yet! I've been waiting for you to do this one!! happy you recognized James Marsden from enchanted, he is also cornie Collins in hairspray As always your predictions were correct 🤣
Benny and the Jets! Benny, Benny LOL And I gotta say everyone loves the bride at the end on the boat who helps Jane find Kevin lol she’s the sweetest! Also if you love Katherine Heigl, The Ugly Truth, One for the Money, Knocked up #bingers
Bridesmaids dresses cost so much (you are responsible for buying your own bridesmaid even if you dont like it) so they say that to try and make it seem like more an investment
I kid you not my sister got married in May. As we were getting dressed the makeup artist and the hair dressser both said at different times. “Theses dresses are beautiful, yall can just shorten them & wear them again” 😂
Every time I hear tense people in movies say they're fine, I remember what Donald Sutherland said in The Italian Job, that "fine" stood for "Freaked out, Insecure, Neurotic, and Emotional." Definitely applies to the main character here!
this movie holds a special place in my heart bc it was the first PG13 movie i watched in theaters, and as a kid that grew up in a very strong christian household, the car sex scene didn't go over well with my parents who had come with me and my friends (but sat a few rows down to give us our space). still, i always look back at the experience fondly as it stands as like a mini, growing-up milestone for me lol
I remember when I was at a friends wedding, she had to throw the bridal bouquet multiple times, because everyone ducked 🙈 nobody wanted it 😆 I kinda wanna see that in a movie
When my mom' married my stepdad all us kids joined the crowd cause we thought it would be fun to try. Then I ended up catching it. Then someone informed me that meant I would end up marrying one of the grooms men and I was like yuck. Gave it away to the only single bridesmaid.
Loved your reaction and yes those big poofy wedding dresses do have be held up while the bride goes to the bathroom. As a bridesmaid I have done this. 😂 Also I have to add my voice for Ever After and I'll also throw in The Count of Monte Cristo, if you haven't seen it. #bingers
#bingers you should do a whole series on famous RomComs, like you're doing for avengers! Crazy Rich Asians, My Best Friends Wedding, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Runaway Bride, etc.
The bride on the boat, I get that excitement, I'd be the same way. Frigging LOVE this movie. James Marsden was my totally my teenage celebrity crush, next to Orlando Bloom. I totally see why after YEARS of watching this. I totally had great taste for physical beauty.
#Bingers Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl #Bingers Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest #Bingers Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds Ends #Bingers Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides #Bingers Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tells No Tales
This was by far the best editing. I haven’t seen this movie in a long time but was able to follow everything between the movie cuts and you commentary really well.
omg, this is my favorite rom com ever, thanks Billy 🥰 between Jane's personality and the little boy dancing while cleaning, this movie is a very good representation of me 😂 and btw, after that dancing queen performance, I'm gonna need a Mamma Mia commentary #bingers
Bro, I once went to a wedding where the bride married her ex-husband's uncle. She had the nerve to wear white, was 8 months pregnant, and chain smoked through the vows. I had to witness the utter horror of it!
