I love your approach to fasting! You're losing weight, improving your health, and enjoying your eating windows. Trying to "eat perfectly clean" on top of fasting is a recipe for disaster for me. I've been on rolling fasts this week and have been successful because I'm not restricting myself on refeeds. The weight is falling off and I feel great!
I’m down 50lbs in 6 weeks 😊 Still have a long way to go, but it’s happening. Fasting Monday to Friday, eating over the weekends. Looking forward to the days when I can reduce my fasts to 3 days at a time, to eventually alternate day fasting (which I want to make my norm). It’s tough but this needs to happen.
@@luckyladytoday I don’t. It’s nice to be able to eat guilt-free and this schedule allows for that. You learn the hard way at first when it comes to your refeed days…but the body adapts so well and you learn to make better choices.
Really happy seeing how much you are NOT letting this “stuff” interfere with living life and enjoying those moments. We’re not striving for perfection. Just a consistent, healthier lifestyle. I've just completed my first 3 day water fast ever! Found it very easy which I didn't expect. Just broke it and did wake up with a banging headache. Just eaten a small piece of fruit and 2 boiled eggs and my stomach hurts. After a day of eating clean today I plan to start a five day fast tomorrow because I'm actually enjoying it and do want to loose around 30lbs. Your headache could be caused from lack of electrolytes. I make sure to have some in the early evening to get me through sleeping hours. Three day fasts are my go to. The third day is almost magical.

I do love your perspective. I am pretty much locked into rolling 48s. I do a 20/80 keto diet for refeeds. Main reason being it just killed all cravings and I get to eat tasty sausage 😂 Could easily fast longer (I like 72s when I’m a bit larger) but either way weight is steadily dropping and it’s just natural now. Very inspiring watching your consistency here!
you are a proof that fasting is more important then what you eat...its really when you eat thats key...so its also great to eat well and healthy...but when you eat that is really more important...thanks, have a great day!
I'm 67 hours into a 10 day fast! Actually, I am fasting for 10 days OR until I get to my short term weight of 126. I jetted up a bit to 134, so I have a ways to go yet.
I love your videos, fasting is one of the best things that I’ve done for myself. Personally, I found out ADF works the best for me especially 40+ hours fasting. I have started doing ADF on January 28 and as for now I have lost about 13 pounds. I’m 16 pounds away from my goal weight of 135 Ibs and I honestly can’t wait.
This video is so timely for me! I just ended a fast. Today, I ate a homemade burger and hot dog for dinner and felt so horrible about it 😂 Now I see that I don't need to be too hard on myself ... Congrats on your success!
Your concept of levers is a really good one. For all of us, quality sleep is important... outside of that eating, fasting, exercising all vary dependent upon what we want to do, need to do, and even physically can do. It's good to know that although it often looks the same, it can be quite different as well.
Thanks for sharing. How much does your weight go up after those kinds of refeeds? How long does it take it to get back to the weight you were before the refeed?
If you check out his live streams he goes over stats. Each 90+ hour fast he will lose what he gained (a few pounds) and then will lose additional weight on top of that. This way each rolling fast he's making progress.
I've had to do this. Just to get me to do 17 hrs. I did sip coffee w/hwc. And worked straight thru it. 0lus still researching about women's fasting after 50yrs. It's not same for all.
Love ur videos most of us were not raised from the womb with experience in not eating so like u said Keep trying until u get it right (get back on the horse) I think One day I'll be eating on the weekends and fasting during the work week as I get near my goal weight I'll be doin omad or adf or doing ww (Wednesdays and weekends) right now I'm doing 48 and one day of raw Fruits and vegetables usually blended for convenience)😊😊

Hi there. I think he does primarily a water fast, with electrolytes as needed. Plus he drinks cold brew coffee or an occasional diet soda if a bridge is needed on longer fast. Lastly, loves to chew ice! He talks about it a lot on prior videos on the channel! Lots of good stuff to check out on the channel. Hope this helps! 😊
Congrats on your journey I’m from Joliet Illinois I want to know when you started out did you fast for 5 days than eat 1 day than went back to fast or did you fast 5 days eat 2 days than back to 5 days fasting
believe it or not, I actually lost 60 lbs in about three months back in 2015 without fasting because it was unheard of back then. i did it by cleaning up my diet and exercise alone However, I think fasting is the way to go because its better at preserving muscle and you get lots of other added benefits that only come from fasting such as Autophagy, so This is definitely the way to go.
You must be young or lucky. I'm in my late 20s and no matter how much exercise and eating healthier I do I at best can prevent myself from getting fatter. Only water fasting has helped me lose weight. and even then... it's prob gonna take a month or so at this rate... I'm only 180 lbs.
I love to try fasting, my problem is i already have maintenance medication, is it ok taking the medication during fasting? I learned that taking medication breaks the fast. What’s your thoughts on this?
Im on day 5 of adf. First day i ate salmon and that it, second day only two bowls of cereal, today is my third day fasted and tomorrow im eating salad and two baked potatos. Im down 10 pounds, probably down 12 pounds when i weigh myself tomorrow
Jerome has mentioned many strategies in his videos and live streams. If he doesn't answer your question here he might answer it in his next live stream which is usually on Sunday evenings. What you eat before you fast as well as what activities you've planned (to keep busy, out of range of food, etc) is also important. One strategy that helped me get from 20 hours to 36 hours was to take long hot baths... hours even.. and get into bed where I stayed until morning. My fasts almost without exception begin at or before 7:30 pm so regularly doing that every evening over a period of a week or so made a lot of difference.
