Discard always, unless you change the water every hour for the first 6 hours as they are the most critical (or until you can mush a daal in your fingers) and them let it soak for another few hours. Phytic acid and soapy water needs to go
@@TruthLoversKoSALAM-fg8dh dals like mung,toor,masoor are soaked foe 1-2hrs overnight will make them ferment. even that 1hr soaking water must be discarded ?? this is after washing the dal 3-5times.
