Hi Andrew, I've just got out of hospital after a cancer op and you know what it's like, pain is unnecessarily bad, food's crap, bed's uncomfortable, nothing to watch on telly. But there you are!!! With a very long bunch of fun. Cheered me up immensely. within an hour, you and your friends have brought me back to a good place, Thank you my friend for being there when I needed you.
Discovered this on Sunday morning on my phone - while making coffee, I turned on my PC - and then spended nearly 1½ hours drinking coffee, eating breakfast and watching The Hudson river "live" on one screen - while I found places on Google Earth on the other - what a nice Sunday morning.. The fact that andrew’s friend was able to ride that 25 year old ski for over 200 miles to NYC from Saugerties shows a true testament to the durability of Japanese small engines. Indestructible and ultra reliable.
Key words here are "25 year old", the new stuff has transitioned into junk also. I have two NEW japanese-built motors, that are total dogshit. One replaced on recall, and another one that is dead in the driveway.

Really cool find and it is still all there. I’m pretty sure that was it. Looked exactly like it. Was sitting in a parking lot of a auto shop.

Shelburne Farms is such a cool place. Its one of my top 20 favorite places to visit in Vermont. Its so cool that you went via water. For anyone interested Shelburne Farms is 1:01:00
It's often called Bannerman's Castle and it was a private Military Surplus/Magazine Warehouse that was built in the early 1900s and there is even a home built in the same style nearby by its owner/builder. It suffered an explosion that took out part of its dock building later on and those remains were seen in the video and are a hazard to boaters who venture to near during the tide. Indeed the ruin that's seen today came mostly from a fire that gutted what remained the interior/roof and is the property of the State of New York and a large part of one of its walls collaspped not to long ago so admire it from afar. Nice to see a Yellow Lab who knows another Lab's owner just from meeting them and Cody's was just getting a bit of Cologne from the fish he found like dogs do.
I love that I can be from a completely different occupational background but still sit down and enjoy ALL of the videos Andrew makes. It's so interesting to watch him diagnose a problem when I wouldn't know where to start in the first place. I have always been interested in how to fix things but always kind of thought it was out of my wheelhouse. Watching your videos motivates me to want to fix as much as I can. It's hard to learn from a Dad that would rather just do it himself than explain to me how he is fixing something. You explain it and why you do it; it is super helpful and informative to watch... not to mention entertaining! Keep up the good work Andrew!
I was hoping to hear you talk about building that looks like a "castle" in this video. If I knew what body of water you are on, I'll look it up myself. I'm an 79+ year old Grandma, just NEW to your RU-vid videos, but I am "hooked". I watch your videos nearly every day, and actually some of them over and over again. You have such a clear and fun way of doing your videos. My favorite is the MOUSE in the "Free Riding Mower". After all the bouncing, dropping, power washing, and when that cute little thing popped it's head out I couldn't believe it. THANK YOU for giving me so much enjoyment and fun, and "teaching" me how to fix smaller items.
Thanks for showing historical places along the way, the Ice house was really interesting to pause and read the plaques. Continue to show the plaques in the future. I grew up near Pittsburgh and as a kid I remember old places out in the countryside near New Castle. The family moved to Austin, Tx. in the mid '70's and now I live on a farm about 60 miles NE of Austin. I still find old stuff back in the woods on our place.
Great video ! Love the stand up jetski's !! I must have taught about 25 first timers with my stand up Kawasaki 650sx. How to not fall: 1. feeling unstable, bend your knees and lower your CG 2. losing your balance? If you are leaning to the left too much, use #1 and turn left, add power, and the centrifugal force should lean you towards vertical again. How to go faster without dying: A. bend your knees and let them absorb all the bumps like shock absorbers & there will be less bouncing = less drag. And water intake gets more water = more thrust. B. be careful, at speed, a fall means you'll bounce off the water like it's concrete. Use #1 to reduce that risk when necessary. C. ALWAYS watch out for boats, other ski's, swimmers, the shore (& anything just under the water) -- keep a safe distance & you'll significantly reduce your chances of getting hurt or damaging the ski. FYI: Kawasaki 800 sx-r stand up, was the most stable, controllable & powerful stand up ski that I have ever ridden. Had lots of fun on it. Doing high throttle donuts & figure 8's, plus low speed 360's (where the tail slides out) without falling was a relatively safe & super fun challenge. Basically as much throttle + as much steering angle as possible at the same time, really tests your skills. Jumping big boat wakes was super fun too.

I can’t get out too much anymore because of an accident I had in California while driving a transport tractor and trailer so I’m disabled now. You remind me of me when I was young so I live through you and all you do. I live in constant depression as you can imagine and watching you is therapeutic for me. Andrew is probably one of the few truly honest youtubers that continually posts hour+ long videos with good content! NOT 30+episodes 20 min each with little or no content like goonzsquad is doing now.
Andrew definitely is my fave but Goozquad is still good. I wish they would call Andrew up and hire him to teach them how to use their heavy equipment. How to take down a tree with a mini excavator and whatnot.
You mean that Andrew records over an hour long worth of a video over time and puts it into one video instead of splitting it up into multiple parts? Yeah, I know. Only time I really had to split videos up into parts is when vlare.tv was still up.
@@morganrussman exactly! I didn't explain it very well but it seems like when youtubers get a ton of subscribers they realize all they have to do is post 20 or 30 of short little videos that normally would have been 1 or 2 just to generate views.
@@CTStevens1 Right. Like I said, the only time I ever did split up any of my videos was by force with vlare.tv. That being because the uploader initially only allowed for a max of 30 minutes per upload, that eventually got upped to 45 minutes, and then I went to check the uploader to see the amount of time and how many GB was allowed in probably late August, and I don't think it redirected me initially to the new site, but, I went to the vlare.tv bookmark I had and i think it went initially to a site explaining that they were doing site maintenance, or something like that. That was the only reason to why I split my own videos up into parts, otherwise, all my videos so far have been edited as a single video.
You will never know how much this all means to some of us who can't get out of the house due to health reasons. I loved every minute of this. What great fun to see Levi enter the picture to the end. I have never seen a SuperJet with a side exhaust... not sure why it was relocated but that is an interesting one! Seems to make it a lot louder than the rear exhaust, and I'm not sure it is jetted well by the sound of it... it also seemed to be really rear heavy, something isn't right. You certainly noticed the difference trying that other SJ back to back. Thanks for posting, many adventures in this video! Enjoyed watching it.
They are riding standing up on the side of the new ski so yeah there clearly is enough room for Levi or Cody to ride his new ski. His older ones I remember watching Levi have to sit down in the side of the skis cause they were tighter foot area

Always go pre-mix 50:1 in the old yamaha wave runners. The oil injection system is always forgotten about and neglected, leading to failure. The extra minute it takes to mix the oil in at the pump is well worth the peace of mind and it doesn't affect the performance at all. Glad that it was just the plugs :)
Epic summer on the water, Andrew. The old abandoned buildings are cool. The tour of Shelburne Farms brought back memories - imagine this. My friends rode dressage for the opening of the Vermont Mozart Festival, which was held on the lawn. One year we stayed in the Vanderbilt/Webb mansion as a b & b guest. Our horses were trucked over for the event. My thoroughbred, Annie came along for the ride. We were able to ride freely around the grounds between quadrille practice. My 25' Larson, cuddy cabin boat was moored in the cove were you and your friends landed. I recognized it right away. So, to sum it up - we stayed in the mansion, listened to world-class live music, picnicked on the lawn, rode horses around the estate, and cruised Lake Champlain in my boat. Nice!
