This german national team was one the best if not the best team ever Germany has ever had with Brehme as one of the top defenders who ever played the game and Matthaus being one of the most talented game orchestrators along with Franz ,who not only won the world cup as a player but also as a coach.. Notice they were all full blooded Germans too, none of this international mix they all got today. Not against it, it s just an observation.
No matter what country your from, it does not give you the right to boo the opposite teams national anthem.. goes to show how low some societies are as a whole
I dont blame diego. Italy were just bitter that they werent in the final and thats why the booed the Agries in my opinion. Diego was just so pissed that a lot of these fans who would have supported and hailed him every other week for Napoli now turned against his nation. A bit of a sour start to the sourest of world cup finals we have ever witnessed.

That's Diego Maradona, he's from Villa Fiorito an area with strong Italian identity, but he's son of Galician immigrants (Spanish). Also, he's Argentinian his family accepted this by moving there, if he sees himself as Argentinian then there's no problem with him insulting another nation. But, he was most likely aiming it at the fans in general.

I'm not Argentinian, neither I am Italian, but I agree with you, but the Argentinian guy who is cursing Italians doesn't have to be from Italian ancestors, cause also there are many Spanish people in Argentina, Spanish and Italian are the biggest ethnic groups in Argentina, so the Argentinian guy who is cursing Italians could be from Spanish ancestors, who knows? But I don't think Argentinian guy from Italian ancestors would curse Italy. So he could have been from different ancestors.
